The first WHITE and BLACK PWD dog imported into Australia is CH SUNNYHILL QUICKSILVER WIND N'SAILS, "Poseidon". Poseidon has won multiple PUPPY IN GROUP awards in U.S.A. before arriving in Australia in October 2005.

Beautiful Irish marked Bitch - CH DO GATOS MIMOSA AT SUNNYHILL, "Mea". Already in the ring in Queensland winning CC's and a Junior In Group at her first outing.

I acquired my first PWD in 2002 and she is the ONLY conformation, obedience and endurance titled PWD in Australia - Australian Grand Ch Bluegrace Coco Chanel C.D.X., E.T. - "Holly Dog".

She is also the FIRST and ONLY Australian Bred PWD to hold these titles and the FIRST PWD bitch to become a Grand Champion in Oz.

Holly Dog is by far the most show and obedience and working titled PWD in the country now holding 5 titles.

I imported a bitch in whelp from Sweden in May 2006 - Biley's Happy Hazard - and she whelped a litter of 6 on June 16th, from Swedish Ch. Gnupens Skoningslosa Matrix (Sweden). There were 6 puppies in the litter - 4 girls and 2 boys, all wavies and I kept a dog and bitch, Rulett Set Thsails Foroz (IID) "Wombat" and Rulett Devocean (IID) "Miss Pringle", to go on with. These two dogs are now Australian Champions and Wombat has also gained his Grand Champion and Endurance Test titles by age 4.

Hazard now has her Australian and Swedish Champion titles and whelped a litter of three pups in April 2008 to Ch Sunnyhill Quicksilver Wind N Sails (Imp USA).

Hazard and Holly Dog are the foundation bitches of my kennel.

I have imported stock from Sweden and exported stock to Sweden, New Zealand and U.S.A.

All my breeding stock is Optigen and ACES eye tested and hip and elbow x-rayed and scored. I also JDCM and GM1 gene test my stock as required.

We are the proud owners of our very lovely Portuguese Water Dogs. aquiring our first "Roque" starting out in 2005 and "Raquel" our second purchased from Dassin in Qld. (the founders of the breed in Aust)and are the 2 youngest Grand titled Porties in Australia.
Roque - BIS GR CH Dassin you Beta Believe it our Brown & White Wavy boy, Grand titled at 19 months of age and was a Best in Show winner before he turned 2yrs.
Raquel - Gr Ch Dassin Perfect drift(ai)Grand titled at 2yrs,4 months months, she is our Black & White Curly girl (first curly to live and be exhibited in NSW)
Our other two younger ones are from Uptrend Kennels in Victoria, a black Wavy Coat boy "Pedro" Multi BIS GR CH Uptrend Black Ice and "Annie" Aust GR CH Uptrend Offshore Annie, our Brown wavy girl.
We had our fisrt litter of puppies with Raquel and Pedro and have made some people and ourselves very happy to have their puppies. All our dogs are Optigen eye tested A(clear) or B (carrier) no C (affected) and are hip and Elbow X rayed and scored before breeding.

Our foundation bitch "CH Dassin Lets Rock Th Boat" produced 11 puppies from 2 litters, 6 have been shown and all are IN SHOW winners. The other 5 have happy homes with there pet owners.

We now have two imported males from Casa Hoya kennels in the Netherlands:
Grand Champion Casa Hoya Dare Devil Go Get Em, who is a MULTI BIS winner, and also producinng BIS winners.
Casa Hoya In Da Club, is well on his way to his Australian title.He gained his dutch Junior CH befor comming to Australia.
All of our dogs are health tested and we are happy to provide coppies of the test results.
We are happy to provide on going help, support and information to all our puppy owners,or to people interested in the breed.
The Portuguese Water Dog is non shedding and low allergenic to many people with allergies.
It is a highley intelligent dog strong and self willed.It needs plenty of exercise and regular grooming.It is not a dog that will suit everybody.

Claire has done us proud gaining her Aust Champion title at just 12 months of age, winning along the way many Baby, Minor, uppy & Junior in group and in show awards. She then did us proud once again taking out bitch CC and runner up Best of Breed at the 2008 Adelaide Royal show beating older Campions & Grand Champions.

We had our first litter from Claire in 2011 and look forward to her son also doing us proud in the show ring.
