At Celerity we are the only shih tzu kennel in New Zealand who have either bred or owned three generations of Best in Show (All Breeds) winners. We have some exciting progeny of Jordans in the show ring at the moment namely RBIS Ch Celerity One Step Ahead and Ch Celerity The Wonder of Woo.

Currently we are campaigning BISS NZ Ch Shihghan Moment in Time From Celerity (owned in partnership with J Townsend), although Indy has only been lightly campaigned here in the South Island she has recently proved she can also be competitive in the North Island winning Best In Show at the Asian Breeds Ch Show November 2011 and Best Intermediate in Show under Wendy Paquette October 2012.

At North Otago K. A. March 2013 Indy' wins Reserve Best in Show (All Breeds).

We plan our matings very carefully so we can produce puppies with superb health and temperament that have been well socialised, we also consider our babies to be outstanding quality hence why they have been in great demand by other breeders and our show record certainly speaks for itself.

Over half the shih tzu listed on dogzonline we have either owned or bred the dogs that feature in their pedigrees.

I have been involved with the breed for 5 years. As a new comer to the ring & the breed I presented for show Australian Grand Champion Kachinka Texas Holdem known as Andrew. Andrew gained his Grand Champion title in Moree in 2009.

His sister Australian Champion Kachinka Domino Dolly known as Panda is attending obedience. Christmas 2009 Panda achieved her Canine Good Companion Certificate & will continue on in 2010.

Australian Champion Killilian Wun Dreamatatym known as Caddie had a litter of beautiful puppies. Caddie is the worlds sweetheart & has been a wonderful mother. Caddie has now qualified as a Delta Therapy Dog & two of her boys are now Australian Champions Silkowrd Follow Me Pearls & Silkowrd Ring of Pearls known as Jet & Robert.

Soundness and temperament are of utmost importance to me. I have two lines; i.e. two beautiful 'girls', Bokkie and Skatjie. And 1 gorgeous 'boy', Kurumidza. Bokkie is small in size, and very gentle and sweet; she has a very pretty chrysanthemum face. Lovely Skatjie is slightly more sturdy and full of fun. Our very handsome, gentle, fun-loving boy was chosen for both personality and good looks!
I aim to breed dogs with exceptionally pretty faces - you will look at your puppy/dog’s face for many years to come! I also breed a good natured, friendly and outgoing member of the family. Our darling babies are born and raised in our home, and are well handled from birth; with an exceptionally large amounts of love and attention. As a good kennel we have strict hygiene rules and all puppies’ needs are attended to immediately; there is always someone ready to attend to them 24 hours a day. Our puppies are taught to trust people from the beginning and have been brought up with children handling them well and kindly.
We aim to provide both show dogs and quality pets. We do not presently show our dogs due to circumstances and so our dogs ‘haircuts' are comfortably short and cute. We have chosen our lines very carefully from experienced, good and reputable breeders(Grandparents of pups have been shown). I have previously bred quality Bichons in NZ for many years and take pleasure and great pride in providing quality care and in breeding dogs of great temperament and brilliant soundness.

I had a great year in 2012, showing JAZTZU DANCES WITH WOO, who gained seven challenges towards her title in just 13 months and gained the last challenge at New Plymouth Kennel Centre for the title of NZ Champion joining her litter brother!
At Horowhenua K.A. Shows 16/17th February, JAZTZU WOO CAN'T MISS ME AT AMARI gained the last challenges for his NZ title. Thanks to Nerolie Jones for her grooming, handling and most important loving of "Frankie", the first Champion bred at JAZTZU.
