We are a small, family run Welsh Pembroke Corgi breeder. We now have just the one purebred breeding stud (owned by our daughter), and two females, Hazel & Harriett. All are from champion bloodlines and have been thoroughly health checked on a regular basis. All of our other dogs are happily retired here with us on the farm. They are very happy, loving, intelligent and (usually) obedient dogs. We are always welcomed home with big smiles and wagging tails.

We aim to breed extremely high quality family pets with the superb temperaments and excellent health of their parents.

Of course, first and foremost our gorgeous dogs are our family pets and are a much loved, irreplaceable part of our family. They are not caged animals but have the run of the house yard, getting out with us on the property several times a day, for a swim in one of the dams or just a good explore of the hills and gullies. They of course spend plenty of time inside with us in front of the fire or under the air conditioner, happily watching T.V. Yes, they are just a tad spoilt, but that's how they're supposed to be!!

We have been fortunate to have had a wonderful introduction to this breed when we purchased Ch Fergwyn Far Horizons (Richie) from Mrs B Ludowici. Although at the time we were relative novices to the show world, we were able to partner Richie to achieve his Grand Champion title.

Since then we have been breeding dogs of sound temperament and structure that achieve success in the show ring but equally as important, dogs that will become treasured family members. Our puppies are well socialised and come with Vaccinations, Micro chipping, Worming history and Pedigree Certificates.

Here at Windybrae, we pride ourselves on breeding dogs that are sound and of great temperament.
All our dogs can be traced back to the Pemvale prefix of Kitty and Peter Flynn, who helped us get started in the breed and encouraged us to show our Pembrokes.

Welcome to Corshelgi Welsh Pembroke Corgis located in Lake Macquarie NSW.

We have been involved with German Shepherds and Pembroke Corgis for around 40years and recently, on retirement, we attained our Registered Kennel Name so as to devote our full attention to our love of the breed and enable us to share this love with others. Aura (Cucchin Splashafinery) Zen (Pemvale Put a Sock in it) and Halo (Corshelgi Spirit Angle) are our beloved Corgis. All have beautiful natures and come from good lines.

We have a free range approach to running our Kennel and raising our pups. Aura, Zen and Hal are a major part of the family living in the house, having yard access, lots of love and attention. They attend obedience training for trialling which they enjoy every Sunday and are entered into shows regularly. Both are good socializing events.
Corshelgi breeding will only take place according to the guidelines of Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) code of practice. All dogs used for our breeding have been genetically health tested and we only use the best American, British, Japanese and Australian bloodlines.
Our wish is to establish a small Kennel only, having 1 or 2 exciting litters a year.

Having bred, shown and obedience trained my first Pembrokes as a teenager back in 1986 our family has delighted in this hardy, outgoing, intelligent and versatile breed for many years!

After a 10 year break from dog sports and breeding (family, farm and horses claimed our time and resources )) we are thrilled to be revisiting our original passion to contribute to the breed. With the support of the late Kathy McPherson of Macvale corgis, we were lucky to acquire a lovely tri bitch, Macvale Special Design, aka Lizzie in 2019. Lizzie was the image of her Grand dam, Aust Ch Canaille Little Black Lexus - from our last litter, back in 2009. Plans to campaign Lizzie in conformation and obedience were pulled to a halt by COVID.

Jumping ahead to 2021 Canaille corgis joined with Renay Cochrane of Begrayced corgis (NSW) to produce several quality litters. Aust Ch Canaille Platinum Jubilee at Begrayced is the most recent star of this partnership, gaining her title in May 2023.

We aim to produce quality and sound puppies with temperament and character able to thrive in active farm and family environments as well as the show ring and dog sports. The free-moving ability of our corgis reflects our compliance with the breed standard to produce an active 'working' dog.

Puppies are occasionally available to approved pet homes.

I have a love for my breed and showing them gives me a socialisation aspect in my personal life.

I actively show as much as my life allows, I titled my first pedigree corgi Benson to Australian Champion as of Easter 2019.

In November 2020 I was luckily enough to get my new girl Reign from Gloria Woodward (Aberlee). Ch. Aberlee Reign Of Love.

Reign has been genetically health tested and I am very happy with what she has in both genetics and conformation that will continue on upholding the integrity and standard of the breed, under mentor Gloria Woodward.

BUNYAVIEW is a small kennel located in a peaceful rural setting in the South Burnett. My dogs enjoy the country lifestyle - runs around the paddock, swims in the dam, and quad bike rides. They do tidy up though!

I show my dogs and puppies when I can, enjoying the change of scenery from the farm to the show ring. My husband and I have had border collies on our farm for the past 30 years and made the move to being registered Dogs Qld breeders when we decided we wanted to show our dogs and be more involved with the breed... and we haven't looked back. Always loving herding dogs and admiring the Welsh Corgi for many years, I got my first registered Welsh Pembroke Corgi in 2019 from my now great friend Leigh, from Izalab. I've met the most wonderful bunch of 'Corgi Folk' and LOVE showing and talking Corgi's.

My dogs are DNA tested and hip scored (young dogs still in the process of). When I do have puppies I generally sell on limited (pet) register but will consider mains registration for fellow ANKC registered Breeders who are show homes. Puppies on the limited register come with a desexing voucher to assist in the cost of sterilization.
