Country started his obedience career at 10 months of age.In 1997 he came 3rd at the German Shepherd National ,then at the N.S.W.State Obedience Titles he placed 1st,2nd.2nd over a weekend and won the Gold medallion for novice dogs that year.In 1998 he won the open class at the German Shepherd trial and Best in trial.1999 4th at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. 2002 German Shepherd National Country Won his open class and an Excellent medallion. 2003 Sydney Royal Easter Show 3rd place.Country has won and placed in many obedience trials and won Best in trials his highest score being 199 out of 200. He has won 14 Excellents through the German Shepherd League,and recieved the silver dog award for his high achievements.Country helped me obtain the Gold handler award through the Australian National German Shepherd Council.Country has also won the perpetual trophy from the Newcastle & Hunter German Shepherd Club in 1998,1999,2000,2001,2002,2003,2004,2005,& 2006 and 2nd & 3rd at the Shepherd League in Sydney.Country was the pup in the whelping box that just sat their and looked, no intentions to keep but very glad we did.He was no show dog but proved he had brains he loved people and dogs and would take visitors to our backyard to play .He's avery easy dog to live with and so eager to please his nickname being Big Boofhead.He's our mate.
