Arthur was another promising dog with excitingly different parents born and raised here at Mikulov. With a deep red adult coat and the left eye parti coloured, he made quite an impact as he assessed the world around him. When we finally got around to taking him to shows he proved his pedigree correct - winning Baby Puppy in Show at 2 out of his first 3 outings.

Arthur had adequate bone, as any male of his size needed, an attractive head with close set ears and lovely almond shaped eyes. His movement had the required tendency to converge towards a central line when he trotted out at his correct speed. Above all, Arthur was fun - he enjoyed playing games with people, playing tricks on our other dogs and running in the bush around our home.

Titled at 21 months, Arthur was a consistent Class in Group/Show winner in limited showing (due to our other commitments). It was always fun to take Arthur out as he enjoyed his show time so much - and this paid off with the Championship title gained on 30 April 2005 with a R/U to Best in Group win.

Arthur gaited the 20 kilometres for his Endurance Test (ET) title on 24 July 2005 in Canberra. This made him another of our well balanced dogs - with titles at both ends of his name! Arthur has been neutered (he has clear eye certificates, but his Sire does not) and continued to enjoy his show outings as he competed in Class 18 and Neuter Sweepstakes at shows locally where such classes were offered.

Arthur worked for and gained his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) award through 2006 - another first for Mikulov dogs.

His brother Angus (Ch Mikulov The Magic In Me) enjoyed success in Adelaide (he was a multi Best Exhibit in Show winner), capably handled and well loved by Ashley Wittenberg and family.

In November 2007, Arthur left for a new life with a family whose older Siberian had recently died and who were looking for a dog like Arthur - to help fill the gap. This is a task Arthur took very seriously.
