Established in 1977 Tegoura Australian Kelpies is a small stud breeding for the future. We pride ourselves on only using hip scored breeding stock. We produce dogs with great temperaments, excellent conformation and rich chocolate coat colour. We breed only for the improvement of our bloodlines and pups are sometimes available. All our pups are raised with young children and other pets.
We love being owned by these special dogs which are wonderful for showing, obedience or as a great family member.

I have been breeding since 2002 and recently had the devastating news that any breeders does not want to hear. I had unfortunately bred a litter with Hip Dysplasia or HD. Whilst only ever being a very small breeder I always thought of myself as an ethical breeder and and a caring one. Therefore the bitch line where it comes from has been desexed and I will not be breeding again until the sadness has passed.

Dewregal stopped breeding Kelpies for a number of years to concentrate on Australian Cattle Dogs. In 2008 we hope to be breeding from Ch Kagaru L.E. who is a lovely chocolate bitch who has consistently won in all show classes from Baby in Show right through to Open in Show.

L.E. has won Best in Show (All Breeds) and Runner Up in Shows in both All Breeds and Specialty Shows in Qld and NSW. She has won multiple Best In Group.

L.E. has been successfully handled by Child Handlers with the children taking out first place with her, so she is heavily in demand with up and coming child handlers. Sam her owner and handler has been winning Child Handler competitions with her over the years and took out the 2006 Brisbane RNA Child Handler of the Year under 13 handling L.E.

L.E. has won Best of Breed at the Brisbane Royal. She has also won the ACD&K Club of Qld Inc Kelpie Pointscore 4 times in row since she became eligible to compete.

L.E. is a typical highly intelligent kelpie with energy to burn. Apart from being a marvellous specimen, she is a joy to own.

The first Kusco litter was whelped in 2008. 2 of that litter became obedience dogs, 1 a Show/Obedience dog and 1 a working dog. The BlinknDare litter was whelped In 2010, all girls. One of this litter - Ch Kusco Blinkndare Topaz joined the Morkerbook show team and did very well with multiple In Group wins at every level.
Kusco Daredevil RN joined our team as a mature age Neuter in 2018 and titled in 4 months with many Neuter in Groups and Best Neuter in Shows.
Morkerbook Saffire Night, a gorgeous black puppy, arrived in our home and hearts in 2019 and joined our show team.
Saffi gained her Australian Champion title at 9 months of age with In Group wins at each level and we are very pleased with her progress.
In December 2020 Saffi had her first litter - 6 beautiful puppies. We kept Kusco Moonlit Bluestone and he is now part of our show team and doing very well.
Saffi has been Hip and Elbow scored, heart tested and had extensive DNA testing done all with pleasing results.
Saffi had her second litter, the Starlight Litter in October 2022. All 7 have gone to their new homes and 2 will be entering the show ring in 2023.
Our next litter is planned for December 24.

Established in 1990 I have put many years of selective breeding into keeping the colour in the ANKC Kelpies and have produced quality pups in many STUNNING colours. Breeding quality Australian Kelpies for performance, the show ring, and as a great pet. My own dogs compete in almost every "doggy discipline" they are eligible for - shows, obedience, rally, agility, endurance, herding, dances with dogs, tricks and scent work.

Our dogs are raised in the house, given Early Neurological Stimulation and raised on raw natural food only. All breeding dogs are hip and elbow x-rayed, eye checked and heart checked by a cardiologist every year.

Winner - Best Breeder of Australian Kelpies on Dogzonline Pointscore 2017 and 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022.. The comp was suspended in 2020 due to Covid. In 2022 the comp was split in to best performance breeder and best show breeder and we still won both. We also managed Best Breeder of all Working Dogs in 2018, and number 4 nationally across all groups. Again 4th best breeder across all groups in 2019.

Our dogs are now represented in 12 countries as show dogs, performance dogs or as great family pets.

We are are small kennel and only have one litter a year, to date we have produced an Australian Grand Champion, 8 Australian Champions and a Canadian Champion, Luxemburg Champion & a Norwegian Champion. We have also exported to Germany, Canada and the USA. My girls have all been hip scored. I have had kelpies all my life and wouldn't have anything else.

Again, we went to Sydney Royal Show 2015. WOW what an exciting day. Aussie - Grand Ch Sandsprite Land Down Under was awarded Best Dog and Best of Breed, expertly handled by Makeala. He also went on to win Group 4 in the Working Dog Group.

We also competed in the Australian Kelpie Club of NSW speciality, on the same day Aussie was awarded Best Dog and Runner Up Best of Breed. Very Proud owner and Breeder.

I purchased a Aust Kelpie from Julie Corin( Corindell Kelpies) in NZ) in 2016.

Jumabaar Kelpies

Breeding for sound confirmation and spunky personalities.

Our foundation bitch Aust. Ch. Lyndoor Sleepy Sam ET HT FM CCD, "Abby" comes from both KLA and Callicoma lines. She has been involved in Agility, Obedience and Herding as well as being a Flyball Champion in only three competitions. She has had a very successful show career.
Most importantly she is a loyal companion.

Abby passed her Delta Therapy Dog test in 2010, and will begin visiting sydney nursing homes in 2011. This is proof of her versatility and steady temperament.

Pups from her first litter are doing well in the show ring, and are also in training in flyball and agility.


We will not be having any future kelpie litters here at Jumabaar until we can test for Haemophilia A on our dogs of unkown carrier status.

Although I am not new to the breed itself, I am new to breeding the Australian Kelpie. I am a small kennel wanting to concentrate on the health and temperament of my dogs. My first litter produced 4 champions from 5 puppies, 1 has a herding title and 2 are training for tracking and Rally O.
From my second litter, Goldedge Playing With Fire won Best Of Breed at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2022 and was short listed for group.
