We breed only when we want a new dog to show. We bred our first litter in 1987. Our current show dogs are, Ch Shilston Ticketo Future HT in veterans and her children Ch Shilston Meant To Be and Shilston Secret Liaison. Ch Shilstone Domination (IMP UK) HT, was the first beardie in Australia to gain the herding instinct title. We sadly lost him in 2007 but he is always in our hearts. We are currently campaigning our gorgeous young bitch Supreme. Ch. Brigadoon Miros Autumn Raine.
Raine is sired by Fin. Ch. Curiosity Midnights Game (Finland) and Aust. Ch. Brigadoon Harry’s Lady In Black
Raine is already an All Breeds Best In Show Winner, Best In Show Specialty Show winner, multiple Best Exhibit In Group Winner, Best of Breed Melbourne Royal, Bitch Challenge at Adelaide and Canberra Royals.

We are also currently campaigning Raines two daughters.

Bandilea are the home of Supreme in show winning Birman cats and are now also dedicated to preserving the Bearded Collie breed. Having owned both Beardies and Birmans for 24 years I am now striving to protect both of my cherished breeds.

Bandilea have Imported a Swedish dog, Honeytaste Mr Tag Heuer (Imp ZAF) 'Hugo'. Hugo is a Multiple Best In Speciality Show winner. The Second male I have imported is from Finland, Memorylane Me Mileyself and I at Bandilea (Imp FIN) "Herbie'. Bandilea have also imported frozen semen from successful dogs in the USA and UK which shows our dedication to this breed.

Bandilea have bred several Australian Champions, including a BEST In SHOW winning dog. This is a testament to our quality and temperaments we strive for.

My dogs are Hip/Elbow Scored and CEA DNA tested.

My dogs live in the home as they are my pets first and foremost. They love to sleep on beds and be couch warmers! I select for temperament, health and soundness before show wins, although they are always nice! My dogs are highly trainable and compete in Showing, Obedience, Herding, Noseworks and Agility which shows the versatility of the breed. They are fun loving, active, enthusiastic, sweet and sociable with people along with other animals.

Bandilea are planning a litter from Imported frozen semen in the middle of the year. Enquiries now welcome for this magical litter.

Shaggydogz is a small kennel, where happy healthy dogs are my focus. Over the years my dogs have been shown in the confirmation show ring, done a bit of obedience and tried their skills herding. All with a degree of success.
