Russia is the home country of the Black Russian Terrier (BRT) and is also my native country. I started breeding and showing these beautiful dogs in Russia in 1991, using some of best blood lines available in Moscow. It was a delight to be able to obtain a BRT puppy CH Yarrawon Catarina (CASSIE) from Rod Maruff here in Melbourne 20 years ago and start my own Ruslana Kennel .
In 2019 we got the new champion and BOB winner on Melbourne Royal show Ruslana Harvard (owner Terry Lia) which become stud dog for our kennel.
RUSLANA Jezabell finishes her Champion title and get all her health tests with a great results.

WE truly breed for quality, great temperament and improvement of the breed.
I return to Russia regularly to visit some of the famous Russian kennels and dogs show.

Ozruski Kennels (combining Australia and Russia) has come about after a long love affair with this breed. I first purchased a Black Russian Terrier in 2002, .
Our male CIMARRON ASZIER KHAN, son of ZORNOI JAMES BOND Aus ch, (www.brtinfo.ru/dog.php?screen=1&userif=2&id=17048). was originally purchased as a pet and was a playful, protective, healthy and joyful member of my family for nearly 15 years.
His Australian Champion father stayed in Victoria for a while and was used by another vic breeder as a stud dog. as we were going to this kennel for socializing, we got to put them close to each other where it was hard to pick them a apart.
many years later when looking for another we found his dad, who lived in good health for 15 years, just like his son, and other siblings so at the age of 12 we made the decision with the endorsement of the original breeder, to freeze semen from our male to continue his lineage, which the vets were stunned to find we still perfect and viable.
Our beautiful bitch CZORNII CATCH THE MOON
was the recipient. . She is a stunning, well balanced and great natured female and comes from impeccable blood lines too.
As much as we are aiming for show dog perfection in terms of attributes and conformation from our litter, our main objective is for super healthy, long living dogs with a delightful temperament who will be treasured family members.

OGARAF Kennels

is a celebrated RUSSIAN BLACK TERRIER breeder, based in Mt. Evelyn, Victoria.

I have been involved in the breeding of dogs since 1980's. Initially, breeding the Rottweiler, and from 2003 serious involved with the "BRT".

I have been involved in the dog show confirmation aspect as well as obedience training.

I endeavour and strive to breed sound, healthy and strong dogs, and aim to educate their new owners, to ensure these precious and beautiful dogs obtain the love, care and attention they deserve.

My dogs are bred for Conformation and Temperament. In addition, all appropriate testing have been undertaken.

Consequently, I am closely associated with Yarrawon Kennels where I have been extremely fortunate to obtain all my puppies from carefully selected dogs and have been bred according to the Russian Standard to ensure that this breeding retains its integrity.

Escadrille were first established in the early 1990's at which time we owned, showed and bred Dobermann's.

We first met and fell in love with these majestic black beauties in 2008 they are highly intelligent, confident dogs.
The Russian Black Terrier is an indoor breed and would not be suitable for new owners that have the intention of leaving their Russian Black Terrier outside.

We bought our first Russian black Terrier in 2009 and since then we can't in-visage not having a blackie in our family.

We have bred dog's that have become family pet's, therapy dogs and some that have become Champions and Supreme champions in the show ring here in Victoria interstate and Tasmania.

Our dog's and puppies are raised in our family home with lot's of love and care, we welcome you to arrange a visit to meet and spend some time with our dog's.

Our dog's have been tested for HD-A/A, HUU-N/HU, JLPP-N/N and we would be happy to provide a copy of the results to genuine buyers.

Owners are carefully screened, we can assist in selecting the right dog for you, and provide ongoing support when necessary.
