LILKIRA BORDER COLLIES We are Dave and Serranta from Margaret River, WA. Professional horse trainers with a background in NZ sheep and beef farming, where working dogs were part of everyday life. Animal psychology, temperament and behaviour is at the core of how we raise every puppy. Dave has been involved with Border Collies for over 25 years, training his dogs in obedience and stock work across steep country terrain where they were an essential part of farming and family. Serranta brings years of experience in showing and breeding Pomeranians, competitive show rabbit breeding, and veterinary nursing - a sharp eye for genetics, conformation and animal health that shapes everything we do at Lilkira. Our dam - Ozziedust De Xquist Champana ("Kiki") Kiki is everything we believe a Border Collie should be - intelligent, biddable and genuinely versatile. Her gentle nature extends to caring for kittens, orphan lambs and calves. She showed natural talent from her first introduction to sheep, rides out with the horses, and is a strong swimmer. Out in public her champagne lilac colour stops people every single time. Our foundation girl Lily (Kaeanda Lilac Lily, NZKC) has mentored Kiki since she arrived as a pup, teaching her how to behave impeccably in any setting.
