We specialise in breeding companion dogs suitable for obedience, agility, herding and most of all to be great pets. Healthy, active puppies with an easy-going temperament is our main goal in breeding. We breed a few litters each year so people who love Border Collies can enjoy being owned by a Wottapud kid.
We are currently breeding from Border Collies who we have selected from our own breeding over 4 or 5 generations, with a few selected dogs from other breeders. The Border Collies we breed with are fully DNA profiled & tested clear of CEA, CL and TNS, so all our puppies are clear of those conditions by parentage. Our puppies are all registered with the ANKC.
We devote a lot of time to our dogs & puppies and they return everything we put into them and more. Since we put a lot of time & love into our dogs we insist on meeting all the people who become owners of our puppies. Our puppies are precious to us so we definitely don't trust them to travel with pet transporters.
People enjoy meeting & playing with our family of 11 Border Collies of many colours and ages. When our breeders retire they remain with us as part of the family until they move on to the big dog park in the sky. This also means our puppies are used to socialising with dogs of all ages.

My name is Catherine Bull & my family & I live at Upper Lockyer on 10 beautiful acres, situated at the bottom of a section of the Great Dividing Range,15 minutes from Toowoomba in SE Qld. Borderwayridge is home for my beautifull 12 border collies, they are raised and living on 200acres of property in Eungella, near Mackay, living around cattle, horses and children. My foundation pair lived to the grand age of 18 and 19 years and majority of my dogs are decendents from these 2 beautiful old pair. I love my collies and treat them as my best friends. I have black/whites, choc/white's , black/ tri's, chocolate tri's, red/whites , blue/white and sables. I have puppies through-out the year, my dogs all have beautiful natures lovely confirmation and very polite manners.and not of the hypo type. Very calm and placid. They all get on with each other beautifully. All dogs are dna tested prior to breeding and I don't breed from any of my girls until the age of 2. Puppies are wormed fortnightly, vaccinated , micro-chipped and registered on limited or main to selected new owners., fed home meals plus dry. Swazi has also worked in short films in starring roles, and as a therapy dog in nursing homes. She represented the state in the Qld State Agility Team at the 2012 Agility Nationals. She also achieved the title of Agility Dog of The Year in 2013.Swazi was the Fastest Veteran Dog and Fastest Veteran Border Collie 2015, running 100m in 7.36secs in lure coursing. Brisk,daughter of Swazi, my current breeding bitch, earned her first 3 titles before the age of 9 months and a 4th title before 18 months of age. She strives to please in anything she does, is excellent in every sport she has trained in. She constantly amazes judges with her work ethic. I have been a registered breeder for over 20 years and a registered Veterinary Surgeon for over 30 years.
My aim is to breed healthy and sound Border Collies with good temperaments. We live on a small farm on the Southern Downs and my dogs have plenty of room to enjoy an active lifestyle. My pups are raised as part of the family with plenty of stimulation and have wonderful temperaments.
All my adult dogs have been hip and elbow scored with low scores. They are all fully DNA tested to make sure they are clear of all the genetic diseases that can be tested for. My puppies are all DNA tested to confirm parentage. They are thoroughly vet checked in the first 8 weeks, prior to going to their new homes.
I am happy to offer ongoing support and veterinary advice, including a comprehensive puppy folder with plenty of information to help new puppy buyers.
Border Collies became a part of our lives in 2010, with our prefix, EYLESVIEW, registered in 2016.
First and foremost, we are the owners of five beautiful Border Collies who are valued members of our family. Our breeding program focuses on adding to our family, and yours.
It is EYLESVIEW’s vision to produce quality border collies for both work and for play. It is our aim that our pups will be equally at home in the lounge room as they are in the show ring or the yards. But mostly that they will go to homes where they will be as loved and as valued as they are here at EYLESVIEW.
Our dogs have all been DNA tested, and full profiles are available. They have also been hip and elbow scored. Puppies are DNA tested (parentage) at six weeks of age.
Puppies are sold on a limited register, unless otherwise negotiated. While we do enjoy meeting new owners in person, arrangements can be made for puppies to be flown to their new homes. Ongoing support is provided to all puppies and their families.

My love for border collies began when I purchased Bonnie 15 years ago. She was the most gentle and loyal dog who was right by my side for her 14 years on earth. Knowing that Bonnie wouldn't be around forever and my developing passion for the breed, I founded Bonikins Border Collies. The name Bonikins was my way of honouring Bonnie - all future dogs will be her family.
As a breeder I endeavour to produce pups with excellent conformation and sound temperament. I follow the ENS training shortly after birth and strive to give my puppies as many experiences as I can during their first 8 weeks with me. They are loved and treated as part of the family by friends and family. A positive start to life is essential for preparing puppies for their forever homes.
All of my breeding dogs are DNA tested and hip and elbow scored with great results. Puppies are sold on the Limited Register unless prior arrangements have been made for Mains. Each puppy is DNA tested for proof of parentage, microchipped, wormed and will have had their first vaccination.
