ey"Splendak" - we are proud to have the name "Splendak" as our prefix, as we have a small family of little miniature smooth and miniature long dachshunds who have been bred from well-renowned Champion bloodlines with sound temperaments and excellence in conformation. The Foundation lines of Splendak are based on lines with solid temperaments. Our little family of girls are all PRA Cord 1 Clear by Parentage. We do not kennel our dachshunds, and they live as part of the family in our home. We live in a rural area, where they have room to run and enjoy daily freedom, fossick in the gardens, look for treasures, and to chase the butterflies, whilst we know that they are safe and at all times, protected . Our miniature smooth dachshunds are raised in the home environment as part of the family. Each and every one of them are very special to us. Although, we only commenced showing and breeding this beautiful breed 12 years ago, it has been a part of our life for many years prior. We only breed occasionally and have produced 7 Australian Champions. We breed for both good conformation & temperament & believe that these have to go hand-in-hand to produce sound and well-adjusted puppies. While our dogs go into the show ring, first and foremost they are our pets. The old saying that "you take the best dog home" is so true.

Mother is a Silver Dapples Smooth-hair.
Weight as at December is 5.0kg
Her nature is patient, gentle with children, she is great around other dogs, humans and animals of all ages. She will happily sit and give you cuddles all day. She is a lovely little lady and doesn’t like birds in the yard.

Father is Chocolate & Tan Smooth-hair.
Weight as at December is 5.5kg.
His nature is friendly and adventurous. He is a low maintenance dog who is happy exercising while he chases the birds or following a lizard. He is great around children. He’s a ‘man’s dog’ - he comes gets a pat and then goes back to lazing in the shade. He’s not really a cuddlier.

My male is proven and is available for stud.

My dachshunds have been fully breed specific DNA tested through Orivet. They are regularly vet checked to ensure they maintain the recommended health vaccinations and conditions, are worm, tick and flea treated as required and are free-roaming.

Mallaway Miniature Dachshunds is a small kennel based in Brisbane. I, Madison, have been exhibiting dachshunds for 14 years and am a third-generation successful handler, from a family that has been exhibiting dachshunds under the prefix SYNJAZ for more than 45+ years creating many champions and grand champion dachshunds.

At Mallaway I aim to breed for quality confirmation as close to the standard as possible, type, temperament, and overall improvement to our beautiful breed. All dogs are DNA tested for PRA Cord-1 and Sarcoglycan Deficient Muscular Dystrophy (SDMD) and pups also come with parentage.

I am a very small breeder and lover of dachshunds. I am situated on a semi rural cattle property and my dogs are well socialised with other animals and people. I aim to breed 1-2 litters per year with a focus on selecting dogs for their temperament and soundness. All puppies are raised in my home in a dedicated nursery and get plenty of human interaction from the very beginning to the day they leave. Here at BUTTDONN dachshund we have been ANKC registered since 2018. All our dogs sleep inside our house either in crates or my kids bed. With the help of some older breeders we starting showing our first dachshund in 2021 and were able to get her titled and we are in the process of trying to get our next girl titled. We have starting backscoring all of our breeding dogs for IVD and every dog in our home has been given a FULL BREED PROFILE through Orivet. All pups born are also given the FULL BREED PROFILE and PARENTAGE test weather they are registered on Mains or Limited. (Parentage test is a Dogs Queensland law for all registered pups.) We give long term support to anyone that has brought one of our pups. We are breeding for health and comfirmation of this great breed.
