Our dobermanns are part of the family, we don't breed often, only when we want another dobermann for ourselves. We health test. We breed for temperament, longevity and conformation.
Puppies are occasionally available to approved homes where they will be a part of the family.
We are a small kennel with plans for breeding quality not quantity. Our aim is to provide for people seeking to own a Dobermann for personal protection and family companionship.
There will be a focus on health, longevity and stable temperament. We will aspire to maintain working line qualities when breeding.
Our location is just north of Newcastle in the Hunter Valley NSW, on a small rural property where our dogs enjoy the open environment.

Martyn Dobermann Stud has been established since 1970, and we are the oldest established breeders exhibiting still in New Zealand.
To date we have bred 93 plus Champions and 12 NZ Grand Champions 1 Aust Gr Ch and three NZ Supreme Champions, and owned an Australian import who became a NZ Grand Champion. We are the first breeders to have a Grand Champion Dobermann registered with the New Zealand Kennel Club and we also have an American Champion to our name, being the only Dobermann kennel to achieve this in the history of the breed along with many Australian Champions.
We, together with our children, have imported four American Dobermanns from the USA, and have currently in the frozen semen bank from the USA, the choice of fifteen top American male Dobermann's for our on going breeding program.
We have achieved numerous awards at both All Breed Champion Shows and Dobermann Specialists Shows. One of our major achievements would be having bred the winner of the Australian Dobermann Nationals, where Australian Champion Martyn Double Trouble (Imp NZ) who won Best In Show over 316 Australian Dobermann's. To date Martyn Dobermanns have won in excess of 150 All Breeds Best In Shows at all levels of competition.
As a family we exhibit most weekends of the year. This allows us to keep in check our continued dedication of quality, always trying to epitomize the breeds standard and adhere to it vigorously and health test our dog
We are located North west of Sydney in Annangrove on 5 acres. All our puppies are brought up in our home with children and get used to other animals.
We breed for temperament and type and our dogs have longevity.
Comprising some of the finest South American, American and Australian Blood Lines.

I have been involved with Dobermanns since 1990 and conformation showing since 2002. I had/have 4 Champion show dogs, two of which are Australian Grand Champion.
My aim is to breed Dobermanns with great temperaments as well as sound health, good conformation and trainability.

Based on the parents attributes we are anticipating these puppies to have great temperaments and conformation having combined some of the best Australian, Canadian and South American bloodlines.
Both Sire & Dam are tested clear for testable genes covering DCM as well as vWD.
They will be ready to join their new families at 8 weeks of age in mid August 2019. They will have dew claws removed, natural tails, vaccinated, microchipped, regularly wormed and registered with Dogs Queensland. Limited register for pet/companion puppies, main register for show puppies. A diet chart and sufficient food for the first week will be provided along with ongoing support.
I am a Registered Breeder with Dogs QLD (CCQ) a member of the Dobermann Club of QLD and have been involved in the breed both as an exhibiter and breeder for more than 36 years.

Seareach Dobermanns started in 1984 with the purchase of the lovely Dobna Magnificent. 'Saga' was a wonderful introduction to the breed as well as to obedience work obtaining her CDX, and was the founder of a line of great family companions for us that continued over 20 years.
In 2007 Seareach revitalised and commenced a pure European lines breeding program. The lovely black bitch, CH Wattavue Dare to Dance (CIDER), aside from being one of the first TAILED breed champions was also an outstanding companion, and became the foundation of our 100% European bloodline, which capitalises on the success of the famous von Norden Stamm kennel lines. Our current females are 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th generation descendants of this girl. As a female line they are exhibiting good health and longevity.
Seareach endeavours to breed high quality Dobermanns of European lines suitable for great family companions, as well as excellent working and show dogs. Genetic health testing, ongoing cardiac testing via echocardiogram and genetic diversity testing all figure prominently in our endeavour to breed fit health classic European style dobes.
