At the GSDCA 2015 AGM the Affiliated Clubs voted AGAINST a VOLUNTARY DM testing scheme. A deregistered affiliate was allowed to vote and it is our belief this was Unconstitutional conduct by the National Council and may have affected the ultimate decision and other matters.

Despite this we will continue to use this test to help in the selection of breeding partners with the intention of ultimately eliminating all possibility of any pups bred by us from suffering DM

We have received results for Takimbre Plato, Peggy Sue, Zsa Zsa, Sunday Rose, Chloes Star, Yore Joyous, Winnie The Pooh, Vanity Plus & Xanadu. All have tested DM Clear!

Members of Dogs NSW (RNSWCC) & GSDCA Affiliate support their breed schemes & adhere to their Code of Ethics. Recipient of the GSDCA Bronze & Silver Breeders Achievement Award now working towards our Gold.

All our puppies & older dogs are sold on the strict condition that our instructions on diet, weight control, exercise, use of Vitamin C de-sexing & basic obedience training are strictly adhered to.

Kieserhund German Shepherds are bred specifically for temperament, although I aim to breed good looking dogs my main purpose is to breed sound dogs in health and temperament with a desire to work. Most of all breeders pups go to pet homes with only a small percentage going in the show ring, so I feel that temperament is of the utmost importance as these pups will be around children and families and need to be very sound in character, trustworthy, loyal and protective.
All Kieserhund puppies are raised in a family environment, are well socialised and temperament tested prior to going to their new homes, I hand pick each puppy to suit each new owner and offer ongoing help and advice. I was a committee member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Qld for 3 years aiding in improving the breed and responsible ownership. Kieserhund has been awarded the bronze medal for dogs bred and put through the German Shepherd National Council Hip and Elbow Scheme.We have also been awarded "Accredited Breeder" status with Dogs Australia (Canine Control Council of Queensland)for meeting the required Veterinary, Health & Welfare, buyer and breeder recommendations. We were one of Tasmania's leading and longest breeders of German Shepherd dogs having been registered as a breeder with Dogs Tasmania since 1975. During this period of time we have bred National place-getters, multi Runner up in Speciality Show and Best in Show class winners. including 2004 Tasmanian Siegerin Janeme Saphire Excellent Merit; 2007 Tasmanian Vice Siegerin Janeme Costa Lot multi Excellent Merit; the very beautiful Vandemhaus Iron Maiden Excellent Merit (daughter of Janeme Pearl); and Castastar Acacia 2nd Junior Bitch 40th National, 8th Intermediate Bitch 41st National,2012 Intermediate Siegerin Queensland Very Good Merit, 2013 Tasmanian Vice Siegerin (No progeny) Excellent Merit, 2014 Tasmanian Siegerin Excellent Merit, 2015 Tasmanian Siegerin Excellent Merit; Janeme I Canduit 2015 Tasmanian Intermediate Siegerin Very Good.

We breed to the SV standard and by selective and very careful planning aim to produce sound, healthy, intelligent beautiful dogs that come from generations of hip and elbow X-rayed stock.
We are proud recipients of the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia Bronze Medal "Breeders Achievement Award" for Hip and Elbows., and all our dogs are raised in a complete family environment, they are NOT kenneled.

BREEDING LARGE BIG BONED HEAVY TYPE PUPPIES
Sarge has now retired from his role as our stud dog he has been producing the large heavy boned type puppies. Also Australian Champions and our first Grand Champion Fax Prelude to Magic AZ. Sarge is now enjoying the life being loved and riding around on the back of his master's quad bike.
Our next stud dog will be a Grandson of Australian Champion Freevale Strikes Gold AZ (Sarge).
Ch.Fax Gold Striker (Brax) He is a large Heavy Boned Dog with a Level back with a very Large Handsome Masculine Head. We are planning a mating about Aug/Sept. These puppies will be of the same type with large strengh of bone.
All my breeding stock have been X-Rayed with excellent results also DNA
