At GSDCA GM's the Affiliated Clubs have voted AGAINST a VOLUNTARY DM testing scheme. Despite this we will continue to use this test to help in the selection of breeding partners. We question why any Breeder would not test for DM. The test is non invasive and minimal cost to Breeder. We only breed with dogs that have been tested DM Clear.

Members of Dogs NSW & GSDCA support their breed schemes & adhere to their Code of Ethics. Recipient of the GSDCA Bronze & Silver Breeders Achievement Award now working towards our Gold.

All our puppies & older dogs are sold on the strict condition that our instructions on diet, weight control, exercise, use of Vitamin C basic obedience training are strictly adhered to. Pups can be purchased in installments commencing with a holding deposit of $500.00 at time of birth.

Kieserhund German Shepherds are bred specifically for temperament, although I aim to breed good looking dogs my main purpose is to breed sound dogs in health and temperament with a desire to work. Most of all breeders pups go to pet homes with only a small percentage going in the show ring, so I feel that temperament is of the utmost importance as these pups will be around children and families and need to be very sound in character, trustworthy, loyal and protective.
All Kieserhund puppies are raised in a family environment, are well socialised and temperament tested prior to going to their new homes, I hand pick each puppy to suit each new owner and offer ongoing help and advice. I was a committee member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Qld for 3 years aiding in improving the breed and responsible ownership. Kieserhund has been awarded the bronze medal for dogs bred and put through the German Shepherd National Council Hip and Elbow Scheme.We have also been awarded "Accredited Breeder" status with Dogs Australia (Canine Control Council of Queensland)for meeting the required Veterinary, Health & Welfare, buyer and breeder recommendations. Monsimbee - Working line german shepherds - At Monsimbee our german shepherds are part of our family and spend time with us in our home as well as roaming our acreage. We are active in obedience, tracking and also assist with rescue and rehoming gsds. All our breeding dogs have been health tested and hip and elbow xrayed and scored and meet the GSDCA breeding critera. Our breeding program is based on our aim to improve the breed with emphasis on quality, temperament, character and soundness. We are members of GSDL NSW, Dogs NSW, Tracking & Rescue and a number of other obedience clubs. Karen is an ANKC judge (tracking).

Karham have bred the 1999 & 2001 Qld Puppy of the year Zone 3 Winners being mother & daughter respectively (a first for GSD’s) and also the Qld Dog of the year Zone 3 winner in 2005.

Our dogs have great temperaments and are very well socialised with a variety of people and other animals making them very versatile in any aspect.

Not only are our dogs top quality show animals they are our lifelong family companions.
