Lukota is a small scale breeder and our dogs are our family. We have both a high drive working line and show lines. Stock coats and Long coats We are the 3rd generation GSD breeders in our family and have had German shepherds most of our life’s We are active in both Obedience shows and Conformation shows and really believe in only breeding to better the breed. We focus a lot on temperament and breeding well rounded dogs. Our German Shepherds make great family pets with beautiful sound and solid temperaments. Our pups are raised on 100+ acres and are exposed to all types of animals and livestock, loud sounds, machinery and children. As a dog trainer I put a lot of effort, training and environmental exposure and early neurological stimulation into our pups in the critical time of their life to try and ensure well rounded and confident and outgoing puppies.

Disco is our up-and-coming 2 year old maiden, daughter to our Luna (Sheatarn Astrella), who has now retired from breeding. She comes from a long established working line pedigree with many in policing and work roles. Most live a lovely life as well balanced and beloved family pets. Stud dog is Vondanaero Elvis. A sable dog with a handsome classic body type and impeccable personality and temperament. Disco is incredibly eager to please and train, having. If you want a fitness buddy that can keep up with you for any length of time, but also cuddle on the couch at night we have what you are looking for. With excellent health screening results, we raise our puppies to be gently handled by all members of our family. Our pups grow up with cats & dogs, normal household sights/ smells and sounds. Lou is a doting Mum and Disco will certainly provide the same TLC to her puppies. Disco has undergone a 3 week board and train to take her mental and physical game to the next level, with a view to entering dog sports and achieve her Endurance title. We focus on a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in order to promote the health and wellbeing of our Dams and their pups. We love our breed and aim for the highest standard health wise and with the breed standard forefront in our heart.
