We are located in the inner-city of Sydney and our dogs are much loved members of the family. Our dogs live with us at home. We do not re-house our older dogs - this is their permanent residence.

Our dogs are multi-award winners having won Best of Breed at the Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra Royals. Our oldest dog, Banjo at age 15 is a multi in-group and in-show winner, not retiring from the ring until he was 14.
We are proud of our independence and ethical stance on the issues of dog breeding and management. German Spitz do not do well when confined and require a high level of exercise each day.

A small country kennel breeding for 'quality through soundness, type & temperament'. Home of quality show winning dogs. Winner of Best in Specialty Show 2014 and Best of Breed at both Sydney Royal and Canberra Royal 2014. Along with Reserve Bitch Challenge Sydney Royal 2014. We have also been awarded many Royal wins including Best Puppy of Breed for 3 years running.

We breed for quality and not quantity. Puppies occasionally available to loving pet or show homes. All puppies raised in a family environment with lots of luv and cuddles. Our puppies are raised indoors. We occasionally have puppies available to approved homes.

We have also successfully exported dogs to Norway and New Zealand with great success.

We welcome to our breeding program from Hungary. ( in partnership with Kafe kennels) Kunhegyesi Bleki Energy Macko who has now since arriving in Australia late April already become Australian Champion to add to his Hungarian titles.
Also he has just sired 5 beautiful babies in his short time in Australia. So we are very proud of this boy at just 16months old he is amazing!!.

Puppies are all health checked, microchipped, wormed and first vaccination also come with puppy pack.
Coats are very easy to look after.

I Have been involved with breeding and exhibiting dogs since 1975.

All my German Spitz live as and are very Important family members and live in a Family environment. They all have plenty of room to help them develop to their full potential. This is not a business or commercial venture for me it is my hobby that I take very seriously.

My Prefix came about due to my husband and I liking to have a cuppa and piece of cake in a Café and the company of friends especially those who had obtained a kafe German Spitz Mittel. I was not allowed the prefix Café so I spelt it with a K Hence Kafe

I am very passionate and devoted to the German Spitz and are striving to promote and improve this wonderful breed and show them with pride.

Our family of German Spitz are our Fur Kids and are not kenneled. They enjoy daily life with us joining in all our activities and they just love the show ring. Our Fur Kids are feed on a top Premium Dry food.

Origins German Spitz is one of the youngest registered breeders of German Spitz in Australia based in Melbourne. We have been exhibiting the German Spitz since 2013 and striving to gain some recognition for the breed both in the show ring and dogs sports including agility.

We have been fortunate enough to have two wonderful foundation dogs (Bane and Eva) for our kennel getting their “origins” from successful kennels as Vonleenard, Borndownunda, Atetac, Neuboree, Fyreburst and Llancarfan to name a few. Our goal is to work to maintain the high level of standard which we have in Australia for this amazing breed with the aid of mentoring from our senior kennels.

A small kennel with German Spitz Mittels - an owner, handler and breeder of these affectionate little dog. They are alert, intelligent and just awesome with everyone
I fell in love with these little alert dogs of all colours with the lovely smile and great temperament all tied up in a little bundle and lucky enough to adopt one. I now have14 Champions all bred under the Vonleenard German Spitz Mittel prefix and 1 GRAND Champion
All puppies are vet checked, immunised, fortnightly wormed also health checked eyes and patella disorders and most importantly DNA tested for vWd (blood clotting disorder). My babies are raised on top quality fresh food as well as a range of quality biscuits. Show, Obedience and Companions.
Vonleenard puppies are sent to their new homes with manual, toys and full lifetime assistance. Raising each puppy to reach their full potential is my goal and they are brought up in a family environment (no kennel) well socialised with older dogs, children and our Ragdoll cat.
These German Mittels have the best of the great Breeders of German Mittels. From German, Norwegian, UK and top Australian Show and Obedience dogs.
