Ambrecreek is a small family oriented kennel on several acres. My dogs are part of the family and also enjoy lots of outdoor space to run and play in beautiful natural surroundings. In this great environment they grow up relaxed and outgoing.
Their friendly and gentle natures are a testament to their breeding and lifestyle. When I breed my dogs, it is to bring out the best of these quality Golden Retriever attributes, always striving for dogs with gentle even temperaments, high intelligence and good health. In particular I also try to make sure the dogs are athletic and retain their natural instinct for retrieving and obedience and adhere to the breed standard.

The line includes some dogs that have excelled in Agility and Obedience work as well as show champions in their pedigree ancestries as well.

We have been breeding Golden Retrievers since the late 1990s. Although we don't show or trial regularly anymore, we have in the past and may again in the future, instead focussing on exhibiting our Dobermanns at this time. Despite this we place great value on type and conformation and our dogs pedigrees contain Grand and Supreme Champions, as well as imports from England, Scandinavia and elsewhere in Europe. Our goal is to breed quality family companions with a focus on soundness, health, longevity and temperament. All of our dogs and bitches have been hip & elbow scored, have ophthalmologist certificates and sound hearts. John is an ANKC Group 3 and Group 6 conformation judge and obedience judge. We breed 1-2 Golden Retriever litters per year.

We have bred many Multi- BIS winners over the years, lay claim to having bred a number of Grand Champions and over 20 Champions. Our greatest joy being our own home bred Aust Ch Alubyc SS Enterprise winner of 9 All Breeds Best in Shows. Of recent times our dogs have won at a high level in the USA, Ireland, Scotland, Finland and Poland. In 2018 a dog of our breeding gained his UK Stud book number and CRUFTS Qualification for life.

We only breed to UK and European bloodlines and will not compromise in our belief that these are the exemplar and most correct specimens of the breed with research backed longevity.

Shining Dawn is a small kennel that has recently relocated from 25 acres between Mudgee and Wellington in NSW to Sydney.

Our quality pups are bred for soundness and excellent temperament. They are well socialised, spending time in town, in cars, around other domestic animals, in the house and yard. They are handled from birth, being hugged and cuddled by adults and children regularly.

All of our dogs are hip and elbow scored and have clear heart and eye certificates. We DNA test for all testable diseases and only use dogs that are clear. Our dogs eat a variety of different, natural, healthy foods and have plenty of room for exercise and play.

We have a dedicated closed Facebook group for all of our puppy owners, where you can meet others with our dogs, watch how we grow our pups and dogs and interact with us and the extended family. We add all of our new owners to be to this group as soon as the puppies are born and we know that we have a pup for you.

Our Goldens are very much part of our family and do not live in a kennel environment.
We live on 14 acres in lovely Gippsland which is only a few hours from Melbourne and 10 minutes from Sale.
We are registered breeders with dogs victoria and have been breeding for almost 12 years now.
Our dogs all have very good hip and elbow scores , clear heart certificates and current clear eye certificates.
Our goldens are also DNA tested
Having a litter of puppies is a huge commitment and while we have puppies here everything revolves around them as it should.
We have a wonderful vet who comes to our property and vet checks each litter at 3 weeks of age and again at 6 weeks of age.

We have been a small family based breeder for the past 23 years and usually only have one or two quality litters of puppies each year. We are located close to the beautiful shores of Lake Macquarie, and our dogs love going for a walk along the waterfront every day. Our five girls and two ragdoll cats, are part of our family and we currently have one retired and three active Delta Therapy Dogs who make visits each week to two local hospitals and the Support students at a local High School and Special School for students with special needs.

We breed for temperament and health, and source the best stud dogs from both Montego Goldens and Goldbrior Retrievers.

All our girls have had all the health checks done for the breed - Eye, Heart, DNA and all have low Hip Scores and Ichthyosis Clear, as do the stud dogs that we use.

PLANNED LITTER IN FEBRUARY 2024
We are a small family based breeder located in East Gippsland, Victoria. Our Goldens are family pets first and foremost and are also show dogs. They enjoy the comforts of our home and love nothing more than playing with their tennis balls and romping at the beach and sleeping on the couch or the bed. We aim to breed happy, healthy puppies with excellent temperament and type. Puppies are raised and socialised in a loving and caring family environment following the Puppy Culture protocols. Our breeding dogs are hip/elbow scored, have current eye certificate, clear heart certificate and are DNA tested. We are proud to have 4 generations of Nazneen dogs living with us along with the Matriarch of the family, our very first Golden Ch. Neut Ch. Janbensa Curlewis Goldlady - Marley who is the Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother to the dogs that live with us. We still show our dogs and are proud to have have gained three Aust Champion titles with out homebred dogs plus achieving 2 Aust Titles with our girl, Marley who at the the age of 12 in now retired. One of our biggest achievements in the show ring is winning an All Breeds Best In Show with our homebred boy BIS Ch. Nazneen Why Walk Whenu Can Fly. My name is Lesley Lowe and along with my husband, Phil - we are Wembury Golden Retrievers. My first litter was in 1987 and since that time I have bred a select number of very special dogs. We lived for a number of years in Lismore in Northern NSW, but have now settled in Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. We are on five acres, so the dogs have plenty of room to run.
Here at Wembury Golden Retrievers we strive to have dogs with wonderful temperaments who bring joy to all they meet. It’s all about the character and sense of humour which is the essence of what makes them Goldens. They must be smart as well as trainable too.
Soundness comes next and is very important to us, which is why we do all the health checks to make sure we get it right – We test hips and elbows, hearts and eyes, Ict-A and Pra 1 & 2 DNA tests. All of these must be well and truly within our very strict standards before we consider using one of our dogs in the breeding program.
Lastly, we need our dogs to be beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. The show-ring, whilst not our primary goal, is a really good way to keep tabs on our progress – so we do compete from time to time.
We only breed occasionally and only allow our puppies to go to wonderful loving homes where they will be cherished as family members. All enquiries are welcomed.

We currently have a couple of young Golden Retrievers that we are hoping to breed in the next 12 months.

I have been a registered breeder for over 20 years and a registered Veterinary Surgeon for over 30 years.

My aim is to breed healthy and sound Golden Retrievers with good temperaments. We live on a small farm on the Southern Downs and my dogs have plenty of room to enjoy an active lifestyle. My pups are raised as part of the family with plenty of stimulation and have wonderful temperaments.

All my adult dogs have been hip and elbow scored with low scores. My dogs are all checked by a Specialist Veterinary Cardiologist to ensure they are free of any congenital heart conditions at 12 months of age prior to breeding. They are also checked by a Specialist Veterinary Ophthalmologist to ensure they are free of any genetic eye conditions. My dogs have been fully DNA tested to make sure they are clear of all the genetic diseases that can be tested for. My puppies are all DNA tested to confirm parentage. They are thoroughly vet checked in the first 8 weeks, prior to going to their new homes.

I am happy to offer ongoing support and veterinary advice, including a comprehensive puppy folder with plenty of information to help new puppy buyers.

I do try to breed for the golden colour and darker gold dogs, which is not a breed requirement, purely a preference as many of my puppy owners want a golden that is gold!

All my dogs are genetically screened for any hereditary issues which are all clear, plus I have current eye certificates for breeding girls and I aim to breed for the lowest hip scores.

We are a small family based breeder and goldens have been a part of the family since 1973. We are currently located in the Southern Highlands. Our pups are bred for soundness and their excellent temperament, with two being fully trained assistance dogs for my daughter who suffers from anxiety and depression. They all leave having been regularly wormed, first vaccinations, microchips and vet checked.
All of my dogs hold certificates for hips and elbows, x-rays and eyes and heart tests.
