I have been involved with breeding, showing and trialling dogs for over thirty eight years.
Hashki owned or bred dogs are multi in show and in group award winners in most states of Australia, with over fifty champions.
Our pedigrees are based on top quality overseas bloodlines, including my two lovely American imports. My lines include the rare and lovely chocolates.

NOTE: We do not have any Havanese for sale. I have retired from breeding and showing due to terminal illness.

I have been involved in showing dogs for over 30 years. Our dogs are raised in a home environment,with young children and other pets, receiving loads of attention and socialising. We have a selective breeding program based on improving the breed and producing excellent temperament, type and soundness.

No expense is spared in raising our Havanese and it shows... firstly in their lovely natures, the condition they are presented - gloriously clean and parasite free. All is done with the very best of products. To ensure they are in perfect health all of my dogs have annual vet checks.

Havanese are easy to train and eager to please. A small companion dog around 8 – 10.5” in height, they have a long, low shedding coat (hypoallergenic) with medium to high grooming requirements. With their happy dispositions they are ideal for families and socialise well with children and other animals.

I was introduced to the lovely Havanese breed over eight years ago.. Prior to the Havanese I have been breeding and showing Maltese for over 35 years. I also bred and showed Tibetan Spaniels and a Pug occasionally.
I am now learning all about the very interesting, playful and intelligent Havanese breed thanks to Hashki Havanese.
We do have older desexed dogs available from time to time.

Beljala Kennels is a small kennel breeding for quality not quantity. Our mission is to produce happy, healthy Havanese.

Our dogs have been fully profiled through DNA testing for diseases and traits common in Havanese. They have had their hips and elbows X-rayed, eyes screened by the Eye Clinic For Animals and patellas checked by our vet to ensure that we are breeding with healthy dogs.

We have been involved in the dog world since 1979, with Beljala Kennels being established in 1980. Over the years we have successfully shown and bred Border Collies, Australian Kelpies, Schipperkes and now Havanese.

Since becoming involved with Havanese we have campaigned many dogs to their Australian Champion, Grand Champion or Supreme Champion titles. Our home bred puppies entered the ring in 2018 and have already begun to make their mark.

We were foundation members of the Varieties Of Bichon Related Breeds Club Of NSW Inc. Alanna is the current Secretary of the Club and has held this position for several years.

Our Havanese are more than just show dogs. They are much loved members of our family.

Our puppies are born and raised in our home and grow up with much love and cuddles. They are used to children, our cat and our bird. They are raised in the middle of our home and are used to the noise and hustle and bustle of a busy household. They are extremely well socialised.

Puppies have been vet checked, microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed fortnightly since birth.
Puppies come with pedigree papers, vaccination booklet, and puppy care information including coat & grooming maintenance.

We have been involved in the purebred dog world for over 32 years. Firstly with our beautiful Bearded Collies, and more recently with our gorgeous Havanese.

Havanese are very similar to Beardies in nature. They are social, funny, happy, playful and bring such joy to us. They thrive on being part of a family and being included in family activities. They are very adapt to living in apartments, and have modest exercise requirements. Havanese are non or low shedding and hypo allergenic, making them wonderful companions for families with allergies. They have a natural affinity with children and will play endlessly with them.

At Edinglen, all of our dogs live inside as part of our family, we do not have kennels. Our Puppies are raised in our home, where we provide premium food, puppy enrichment activities, and 24 hour care. All of our breeding Havanese have been DNA profiled, heart checked & had their Patella's graded. We pride ourselves on the happy, stable temperaments of our dogs and puppies.

We breed selectively, and only for the betterment of the breed.

Havanese are the most delightful, playful and wonderful companions for both children and adults. Our havanese breeding stock has been sourced from established havanese breeders in Australia, and we continue to DNA test our lines to ensure sound healthy pups. Breeding stock has also been cleared for patella luxation.
