Quality Cavaliers from 1978, Havanese joined Carnwath in 2002.
We led the way for Havanese in Victoria, and now have been joined by eight imports, ensuring genetic diversity in my lines.
My breeding program incorporates European and American bloodlines alongside the tried and tested lines already available within Australia. My dogs are carefully bred with health and temperament as priorities.
ALL resident breeding dogs are health tested for patellae luxation, healthy hearts and clear eyes. Imports and foundation dogs are all hip scored.
The boys are available at stud only to approved bitches.
I am qualified to judge all Toy Breeds, and am a Life Time Member of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Victoria, and foundation member of the Victorian Bichon Related Breeds Club.

I have been involved in showing dogs for over 30 years. Our dogs are raised in a home environment,with young children and other pets, receiving loads of attention and socialising. We have a selective breeding program based on improving the breed and producing excellent temperament, type and soundness.
No expense is spared in raising our Havanese and it shows... firstly in their lovely natures, the condition they are presented - gloriously clean and parasite free. All is done with the very best of products. To ensure they are in perfect health all of my dogs have annual vet checks.
Havanese are easy to train and eager to please. A small companion dog around 8 – 10.5†in height, they have a long, low shedding coat (hypoallergenic) with medium to high grooming requirements. With their happy dispositions they are ideal for families and socialise well with children and other animals.

Cubana Havanese is one of New Zealand’s first kennels to breed Havanese from top Australian, UK and European blood lines.
We have been privileged to experience the pitter patter of tiny paws with 10 beautiful litters to date. Our first litter was Christmas day 2008. All our puppies are in loving homes in NZ, and as far away as Australia, Hawaii, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Spain, Singapore and Tonga. 14 are now NZ Champions and 2 are Australian Titled Champions.
Once you have met a havanese you turn into this raving lunatic that 'Hav to hav a Hav!'
Given that the havanese is a rare, minority breed in New Zealand, every effort is made to refine the breed by importing new, healthy, robust lines from UK and Germany. In 2012 we imported 2 beautiful red havanese, first of this color in the Southern Hemisphere from vom Salzetal, a top German breeder.
Cubana is NOT a business but rather a ‘lifestyle’. Our happy, enchanting little charmers are our exceptionally beautiful, fun loving family members living with us unrestricted in our home. We will occasionally breed with the welfare of our Havanese as priority..

Meeting our first Havanese in the early 2000's - we were charmed by their temperaments, zest for life and their endless companionship. We were joined by our first Havanese "Lucy" - Ch. Carnwatch Alibrandi, and the story unfolded from there!
With nearing 40 years experience in dogs, Anne has had success in numerous breeds from the powerful and loyal Rottweiler, down the charming and effervecent Havanese, and was joined by her daughter Sarah a few years later, with Havanese joining her in her own home shortly after, as her elder dogs passed on. Dogs have been our "family" for multiple generations. We are both trainee judges for the Toy group (Group 1), and Sarah has given back to the junior handling world as a judge in this area for several years.
In present day, Anne & Sarah co-breed Havanese between them, and have a small team, much loved, who are as much their companions as show dogs. We focus on selective breeding that is qualitative for the betterment of the breed, as well as ethically and legally compliant practice.

We are passionate and adore Havanese. Our dogs bring much joy to our family. All of our dogs live inside and are socialised with many dogs and people.
We do not have kennels, our dogs live as part of our families in our home in Southern Tasmania and our puppies are raised in the dinning room, growing up as part of the family, being surrounded by many other dogs and visitors.
We do not have a year round supply of puppies as we do selectively breed our dogs. Ellingly Kennel adhere to the accepted standards for Havanese in terms of uniformity in the breed, good health, temperament, size and colour.
Ellingly Kennels are members of the Tasmanian Cannie Association (TCA) and follow their code of Ethics. Our ethics outlined here meets or is beyond the requirements of the TCA Code of Ethics.

Beljala Kennels is a small kennel breeding for quality not quantity. Our mission is to produce happy, healthy Havanese.
Our dogs have been fully profiled through DNA testing for diseases and traits common in Havanese. They have had their hips and elbows X-rayed, eyes screened by the Eye Clinic For Animals and patellas checked by our vet to ensure that we are breeding with healthy dogs.
We have been involved in the dog world since 1979, with Beljala Kennels being established in 1980. Over the years we have successfully shown and bred Border Collies, Australian Kelpies, Schipperkes and now Havanese.
Since becoming involved with Havanese we have campaigned many dogs to their Australian Champion, Grand Champion or Supreme Champion titles. Our home bred puppies entered the ring in 2018 and have already begun to make their mark.
We were foundation members of the Varieties Of Bichon Related Breeds Club Of NSW Inc. Alanna is the current Secretary of the Club and has held this position for several years.
Our Havanese are more than just show dogs. They are much loved members of our family.

Welcome to Kahyeets Havanese.
I have been breeding dogs Since I was 12 years old. Growing up on a sheep and cattle farm in New Zealand my parents and I Bred working sheep dogs importing bloody lines from all over the world to strengthen our lines, this is were my love of dogs came from.
Eleven years ago my partner and I brought our first Havanese Gabriel Noir, we just fell in love with the breed,11 years on we now have a house full of Havanese that rule our lives.
My great passion with Havanese is showing them in the show ring they are such happy dogs to show and give 100% every time.
We are a boutique kennel and show more than we breed and when I do breed it’s for the betterment of the breed and I’m looking for my next show dog.
