We have been the top Italian Greyhound breeder in Australia over many years and are currently campaigning Supreme Ch. Piccino You Only Live Twice (Bond) in the show rings throughout Australia with great success!

Our show highlights have included All Breeds Best in Show awards, Specialty Best in Show awards and Royal Show Best in Show awards. We have almost 50 years experience as Breeders, Owners and Exhibitors of purebred dogs and always aim to breed true to the ANKC breed standard for type, temperament correct height and sound conformation to succeed at high level in the show ring. All stud dogs are DNA tested for health issues.

Tunamara dogs shine in the show rings in all States of Australia and overseas. We breed to maintain the quality in our dogs and sometimes have puppies available to loving pet or show homes. We keep a good gene pool to prevent inbreeding and add to it when needed. We are not afraid to import new bloodlines. All babies are fully vet checked, wormed regularly, microchipped (transferred) and vaccinated before rehoming. Puppies going to pet situations are desexed and provided with neuter registration papers (transferred to new owners) from DogsSA and free insurance is provided. Full papers for entires are available to approved ANKC registered breeder / show homes only.
Every Tunamara puppy is bred and reared at home by us as we do not use outside agents to breed on our behalf.

Clovelly Kennels have held recognitiion as a top breeder of BIS winning Borzoi at both All Breeds and Speciality level whilst competing against some the best dog in Australia. Just over 10 years ago we added the fabulous breed of Italian Greyhounds to the kennel and they have stamped their mark on the Toy ring here in Victoria. Hi, My name is Liz Monahan and I have loved and trained dogs since I was just a child. I have worked as both a voluntary and professional trainer with dogs in performance sports and behavioural training.

In 2006 our first Italian Greyhound 'Buffy' Ch Canmio Da Chosen One joined us as my son's first companion and show dog and became the foundation for Tahrae Kennels.

Our dogs are an important part of our family and our puppies are whelped and raised in our home, we strive to produce puppies that will suit both performance and pet homes. Our dogs are health tested prior to breeding as we strive to produce the Finest Quality puppies.

We are located in Tasmania and are the proud owners of a small number of Italian Greyhounds that live with us as housemates, bed warmers, show mates & occasional parents.

We have been involved with Italian Greyhounds for 18 years.

Our foundation started with a lovely bitch from the Wondoan kennel in Queensland and a stunning girl we imported from the USA in 2009 from Bellagio Kennels. We are ever grateful to Wondoan and Bellagio Kennels for their ongoing support and friendship.

We have now bred over 20 litters over the last 18 years and are extremely proud of the dogs we produce, both those that we show and those that are companion dogs.

The breeding of healthy, socially adjusted confident Italian Greyhounds is our aim and finding fantastic loving homes for any dog that we breed is incredibly important to us.

We currently have a strong show team being campaigned in Tasmania chiefly by the amazing Di Wazny.

I had wanted an Italian Greyhound since 1979, when I saw a photo in a book. Finally, Cassius (Champion Merikaez Yorick) made the journey to Beesholme from Australia in 2012. He became a show champion at the age of 1 year and 3 days.

This darling boy was joined at Beesholme by the beautiful and very feisty Connie - Amorosa Constance, Agatha (Ch Moonstruck Eek-a-Mouse at Beesholme), Sybille (Tuarua Tabu at Beesholme), and Sybille's daughter Ruby (Beesholme Babsy Magoo), who has already done very well in the show ring.

Latest additions include another Australian imported boy, Champion Tunamara Sugar Rush. Rush will be living with Caitlin and Nimbus and is owned in partnership with Karen Fee, Caitlin and Heather Straka. I also have the blue girl, Cricket, and the red fawn girl, Daisy, from Agatha and Cassius, as well as new pup Frida, from Sybille's final litter, sired by Rush: she is Beesholme Jelly Bean.

Rush's litter to Cricket produced a gorgeous fawn girl, Beesholme Butterscotch, who is being shown in the South by owner Karen and who has at the age of 8 months twice been awarded Best in Group at Championship shows - on consecutive weekends!

All of my dogs are health tested and will not be bred from unless they have satisfactory results.

Kosmos sighthounds was created with my very first litter of whippets back in 1996. After that one and only litter I decided to 'downsize' and have since been totally captivated by Italian Greyhounds.
These amusing, happy little characters all live in the house as members of my family; many sleep in my bed - no kennels here. Living on acreage, they can behave like the true miniature sighthounds they are, enjoying the normal sighthound favourite pastimes of running fast, hunting and cuddling.
They voluntarily keep themselves extremely fit and healthy and are much less fragile than they appear!

I have since spread my addiction for these little dogs throughout my family. In 2015 my daughter in law Ash started out with Kosmos by assisting with vetting puppy homes, and has since become a fully fledged partner in the Kosmos Prefix. Ash actively campaigns the Kosmos show team in SA, and has had great successes both in and out of the ring. Including making up our first Grand Ch and our first Neut Grand Ch.

The emphasis of our infrequent breeding program is to breed healthy dogs with sound temperaments, who match the breed standard as closely as possible. It is essential that my puppies go to only the best, loving forever homes. I am happy to discuss my breeds and the enjoyment of sharing my life with them. My main interest is in showing this wonderful breed.I have shown many Italian Greyhounds to their Champion Titles, my first Show Italian to her Grand Champion. In 2019 campaigned my boy Oakway Reign of Fame to his Supreme Champion title at only 20 months of age. He is a Multi Best in Show, RuBIS , Best in Group All breeds and Specialty winner, Best of Breed and Best in Group (Canberra)winner and Runner up Best in Group at 2023 Brisbane Royal.He is also proving to be an excellent producer of Ch ,Grand Ch and Supreme Ch offspring, lovely types with excellent movement and temperaments.

In 2023 I have campaigned a Son , Sup Ch Oakway Royal Spirit to his Supreme title at 21 months. He is also a Best of Breed winner and Group placing at Melbourne Royal 2023. A multi Best in Show and RUBest in Show winner.

Puppies will be occasionally available to approved loving homes. They are from DNA health Tested parents, Registered with DogsNSW, vaccinated ,microchipped. Raised in the family home, socialised with children. I offer lifetime support to buyers.

Bindahlena is a small, dedicated, home based kennel, based on pretty acerage near Geelong. I am very passionate about the breed, and my dogs are family members, I don’t keep large numbers. In my breeding, my focus is correctness, I’m striving for sound, healthy and happy igs, with great temperaments. I aim to maintain elegance, and balance with correct movement. I do not breed for quantity, only for quality and have a great love for the breed.
I have been mentored for the past 10 years by Annette Johns of Rhodeholme Italian Greyhounds and am very grateful for her help and her wonderful boys, one of whom was bred by me.
Any puppies I produce are vet checked, vaccinated, wormed and micro chipped.
Raised around adult Iggies and cats in home, they are well socialized and I do not part with them until at least 10 weeks of age. 12 weeks if transporting interstate or overseas.
