Shanspitz bred Australia’s Top Winning Japanese Spitz Aust Supreme Champion Shanspitz The Perfect "Da Vinci" and his mum the only Female Grand Champion Japanese Spitz in Qld – Aust Grand Champion Shanspitz Sela Blvd of Sun "Paris".

Da Vinci was a Best in Show & Multi Runner up Best in Show All Breeds Winner & he won Best in Show at the Inaugural Japanese Spitz Speciality from 61 entries. He won many awards but was sadly taken to the rainbow bridge far to early. Paris was a Multiple Best Exhibit in Group, Runner Up Best Exhibit in Group winner & Class in Show winner.

Aust Supreme Ch Shanspitz My Signature Blend (AI) - "Azlan" and his sister Aust Ch Shanspitz My New Beginning (AI) - "Portia", have achieved huge successes both are Multiple Best Exhibit in Group and Runner Up in group Winners and Multiple Class in Show Winners. I am currently campaigning Aust Ch Shanspitz Game Set Match ‘Roger’ with great success and many wins under his belt as a youngster.

We are a small selective kennel producing multiple All breeds IN show winning Japanese Spitz of superb temperament & style.

Jonja Kennel's are proud to be one of the top kennels in Queensland We have produced Japanese Spitz to consistently take 'In Show' awards both here and in New Zealand. A highlight from our decade of showing was Jonja She's A Jezebel winning "Best Baby Puppy In Show" at New Zealands NZKC National Curtain Raiser Show Leading the way as this was a first for the Japanese Spitz in NZ. Go Jezz!!!

We have imported on multiple occasions to widen the gene pool. Included in these endevours have been the importing of some of New Zealands TOP winning Japanese Spitz bloodlines.

We are friendly and approachable

Additionally I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse and Animal Welfare inspector so take the welfare and health of my dogs as seriously.

We have well bred, healthy puppies which occasionally are available to special homes.

Hawkesmill Japanese Spitz
was established in 2011 after 40 years of Samoyeds with the prefix Sunsam.

I am a small family based breeder and strive to breed the best quality puppies to the Standard. Owning 6 Champion females and 2 Grand Champion Male all living here with us at Hawkesmill.

Having shown dogs for over 40 years here in Australia, New Zealand and Crufts in the UK
I feel I have done quite an apprenticeship in the world of dogs. Winning many top positions including No. 1 Japanese Spitz Show Dog of the Year No, 1 Japanese Spitz Rising Star No. 1 Japanese Spitz Breed Challenge for 2015 here in Qld. Best of Breed at Royal Shows including Brisbane Royal EKKA and Launceston Royal in Tasmania.

All our puppies are raised within our home and picked for their nature to suit prospective families.
