I have loved and admired "Miniature American Shepherds" for over 30 years, and it has always been on my bucket list to import and breed these beautiful dogs here in New Zealand. It is a long and expensive process to import these dogs from USA - do all the genetic testing + Hips Elbows and Eyes, I now have some beautiful foundation dogs to begin my lines of Miniature American Shepherds. I bought my first dogs for New Zealand in 2018. All my dogs are AKC registered MAS. I have a co-home breeder in Australia as well. We share 7 imported USA dogs.

Skyefall Kennels is proud to welcome the new breed Miniature American Shepherd (MAS) to Australia! We worked closely with our parent breed club in the United States, MASCUSA to be instrumental in the recognition of the breed in Australia. We are one of the first breeders of MAS in Australia and look forward to sharing this wonderful breed downunder.

We add the Miniature American Shepherd under our already successful prefix ‘Skyefall’, following the same key principles of breeding with integrity and for the betterment and development of the breed.
Temperament, type, movement and health will always be at the forefront of our breeding decisions as we further develop this breed, importing dogs and frozen semen from USA.

We believe in the true type of the Australian Shepherd in miniature and have developed a breeding program working with top breeders in the United States to develop our own line of MAS. We will continue to import the best Miniature American Shepherds into Australia over the next few years.

Pet and Show puppies will be available - enquiries welcome.
We look forward to discussing this wonderful new breed with anyone interested.

Welcome to Jenzsa, one of the first recognised breeder of Miniature American Shepherds in Australia.

We imported the very first breeding pair of champion bloodline AKC Miniature American Shepherds (MAS) from the USA to Australia.

The Miniature American Shepherd was not recognised by our national kennel council ANKC until 2022.

It wasn't an easy task however after a paper trail of documents, backward and forward emails on the 26th July 2022 I received the email I had been waiting for!!!!

ANKC have accepted the Miniature American Shepherd.

Our program will focus on producing genetically sound, great temperament and perfect composition (well, close to perfect) Miniature American Shepherds, as well as the perfect pet / companion.

Miniature American Shepherds make the perfect pet and family companion, they are smart and loyal, fluffy and cute, confident and overall, an amazing dog.

I am extremely excited to be able to showcase my Miniature Amercian Shepherds in the show ring as well as providing families with an amazing pet.

With the official ANKC recognition in 2022, we are so excited and appreciative to look forward to the arrival of our first imported Miniature American Shepherd girls, arriving in 2023.

In the mean time please come and meet us in conformation rings around SA. You can find us in Group 5, promoting this lovely breed and campaigning Mack while we're waiting for our highly anticipated American girls to land. Mack is from Australia's very first ANKC litter of MAS and I quickly jumped at the offer for him to come join us. Despite being somewhat of an impulse purchase, Mack is very much a welcomed, loved and happy addition to the family. We are sure to have a lot of fun.

We are so blessed to welcome this breed. We are excited for the future; building the Miniature American Shepherd within Australia and ensuring type, quality and correct dogs per the breed standard.

I fell in love with these little dogs, both minis and toys during my numerous visits to the United States on holiday and for Quarter Horse events. Could not believe the breed was not here at that time and so begun the search and import process.
I imported my first (AKC) American Kennel Club registered bitch Morgan (I believe to be the first here with papers) In Nov 2020. Second two (breeding pair) Harlow and Raff in April 2022 and other bitches Lynley, Kaia and Ari from New Zealand. I am very proud of my dogs and their pedigrees and hope to further improve the breed here. I am currently showing MAS.

I have fallen in love with this breed, after owning Australian Shepherds for over 20 years. We are waiting for our imports to arrive sometime next year. And look forward to campaigning our new kids in the rings throughout Australia. They have amazing bloodlines and we are excited to bring substance, style and beauty into our beautiful country.
They will be spoilt and much loved pets in our home too.

Spice is as her name suggests - She has a spicy Delightful temperament.

She is 15 inches or 38.1 cm tall. and a spicy red head to boot.
Spice is spunky and fun.

We will be campaigning Spice to her Australian Title before her first litter in a couple of years.
If you love Aussies but the size may not be for you. Keep an eye out for the MAS.

I will be looking at importing semen from OS for future litters.
