We are dedicated to our breed and their development here in Australia. Home to the highest awarded Toller in the country Multi BIS Sup Ch Tarshona Cruise Control ET. Our dogs are Group and Class in Show winners. We are involved in Conformation, Junior Handling, and Endurance. Our dogs are much loved family members. All of our dogs are genetically tested.
Affectionately now as "Tollers" the breed orginates from Cananda. They were bred for duck hunting and here in Australia they have taken famously to the obedience, agility, conformation, field trials and flyball arenas. They are intelligent and very easily trained and take everything in their stride.

With over 23 years of experience in breeding and training Tollers within Australia, Micmaq Tollers are a proven line with achievements and training in a variety of arenas including: Retrieving, RATG, Conformation, Obedience, Agility, Tricks, Scent Work, Rally, Flyball, Lure Coursing, and Endurance.
We believe in balanced training with respect for the dog and the breed, and hold the firm belief that when a Micmaq Toller joins your family, you will have long term support and advice from Sandra and the wider Micmaq community. Tollers are a wonderful breed and thrive when involved in activities such as dog sports, that allows them to focus their energy and demonstrate their intelligence. There are many resources available to help understand if a Toller is the right fit for you and your family.
All Micmaq Tollers are fully Registered, Microchipped as well as DNA and health screened prior to breeding with certificates available.
Current pairings are underway and a litter is planned for late 2023 and one potentially for early 2024.
Working to retain the working characteristics of the breed without sacrificing type or health. All breeding stock are tested in the field as well as being subjected to rigorous health testing and some have been successfully shown.
We believe that "Form must follow Function", so if our dogs are not capable of completing the work the breed was designed for they should not contribute to the gene pool. The Toller is first and foremost a working dog, we make working ability the highest priority, so not to undermine the breeds foundation.
We have had our Champion titled Tollers compete in Championship retrieving stakes and a National Retrieving Trial.
Clearly demonstrating our belief that a toller can be, an attractive show dog, a much loved family pet and a working dog capable of competing against all gundog breeds in working competitions even at the highest levels makes us very proud.
All breeding stock health cleared, Hips, Elbows, heart, PRA, CEA, Eyes, and more recently Jadd, Cleft Pallete, DE DM, Cddy/IVDD and Hypothyroidism with certification supplied.
We work to import the right genes to add diversity to our lines from working tollers with great pedigrees. The intention is always to get as good or better than we have. Litters are limited as the criteria is high and we take a lot of pride in what we do.
A small kennel located in Northern Vic. Active in dog obedience, tracking and instructing since 1989 with various breeds.
Our first Toller was purchased in 2003 we added showing, breeding, therapy dogs, rally and pet education to our dog activities.
We breed healthy Tollers with an emphasis on good temperaments, natural retrieving abilities and intelligence. Glenmave Tollers have been titled in nearly every ANKC sport but most importantly are are part of their families.
We use the available DNA health tests including PRA, JADD CP1 CPS DM DE.CDDY, CDMC, CLAM and dilute, ACES screening for eyes, AVA for elbow/hip scoring.
Importing multiple studs to ensure genetic diversity.
Our Tollers are cherished family pets.
Breeding selectively puppies will only occasionally be available to approved homes.
All breeding stock are from Australian, Canadian or USA Champions, copies of health certificates are supplied to puppy buyers.
Puppies are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, eyes checked (ACES) vet checked and registered with the ANKC prior to going to new homes. Our puppies are house reared and raised with love and care to give them the best start in life.
Ongoing support is available for all purchasers.
Tollers are a rare breed and puppies are not available on demand. The wait can be 1-3 years.
We have a large number of inquires it takes time to work through. Occasionally we have adults available to selected homes.

A small kennel in Central Gippsland, Victoria.
I've been involved in the breed for over 20 years and a registered breeder for 10. However my dogs are pets and sport dogs first so I’ve only ever bred one litter in that time and I’ll never have older dogs available.
I only intend to breed when I want to keep a puppy so litters are very limited.

Unfortunately I don’t do waitlists and my next litter isn’t planned until 2026 at the earliest.
We are situated in south east Queensland. I was introduced to this wonderful breed approximately 25 years ago , but have only been able to have them in our lives since 2012. I find them a wonderful breed , we live on 35 acres with 2 lovely dams , we swim and run our dogs most days they love the water and to play. We currently have 5 Tollers, Our boys Grub and Jack ,our girls charlie,Bonnie and Zoe .Most weekends they are showing or going to obedience trials . Lykajet is a small kennel, new to breeding, but knowledgeable and experienced regarding Tollers. Our foundation bitch Zali (Ch Glenmave Jet Stream) turned 6 in February 2021. She achieved her Champion title in the Conformation show ring in September 2016. She has also tried out lots of different dog sports, including Obedience, Agility, Retrieving and Dock Diving. We kept one of five pups from our first litter in August 2019, Torah (Lykajet Burning Bright).
Our two girls are first and foremost, much-loved members of the family, and we will only be breeding very occasionally. Pups will be born and raised in our home, and will be sold only to approved families.
Prior to breeding Zali, we completed extensive health testing (including genetic testing, hip and elbow scores, ACES eye exam) and carefully selected a stud dog to ensure healthy pups who carry desirable breed traits.
Update November 2022: We are NOT ANTICIPATING ANY LITTERS at the current time. We are not currently adding names to our wait list. We do not currently have plans on when/if we will breed again. Apologies to those who have emailed and had no response.

We have been owned by Tollers for nearly 14 years now, and find them a diversely talented Dog.
Ours compete in Showing, Agility, Obedience, and Retrieving.
We strive to breed a healthy dog, sound and well structured, and perform breed testing to facilitate that.
Each puppy will be sold with worming, vaccination and microchipping completed, and included in their puppy pack, to approved homes only.

Rohan and I have been involved in dog sports for over 20 years now. We have competed in conformation, retrieving, agility, tracking, obedience, rally-o, dock diving and lure coursing.
Rohan and his dogs have competed in agility and obedience since 2004 gaining agility championship titles in ANKC and ADAA. They have successfully competed at a State and National level and been one of a handful of handlers to be selected to represent Queensland at the Advance Challenge. He finally caught the Toller bug and fell in love with Razzle who has proven to be a wonderful match to our family. Her temperament, teachability and structure is exactly what we wanted and she is showing a lot of promise with her training.
We are dedicated and committed to breeding for temperament and soundness to improve the breed and for loving pets that will give families as much love and enjoyment as we have from our fur kids. All dogs are tested for the major genetic diseases for which health testing is available before entering breeding programs.
Our dogs are a part of our family and all puppies are raised in a loving family environment, not in kennels. I believe it is important to match a puppy’s personality with a person’s lifestyle.

Airai is a small kennel situated in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. Breeding quality NOT quantity, we occasionally have puppies available. Our first priority is upgrading our show team, and thereafter having healthy, well socialized Tollers available to selected loving families.

Having taken some time away from breeding to manage my health career I have resumed with Blue's Daughter Micmaq Singing the Blues (AI) (JAZZ) and looking forward to watching the new Kirchoff puppies grow.
My pups will be house raised and grandchild proofed. I love to support the growth of my pups in their new homes. Jazz is health tested and clearances available.

We are a small breeder located in Ballarat, Victoria.
First and foremost, we breed for healthy puppies - we test for most known Toller genetic diseases and ensure that our puppies are free of these. We are advocates of raw feeding and are now breeding 3rd generation raw fed puppies.
We also ensure that all our Tollers are true to the breed's conformation standard and look for temperaments that will produce the best dogs for both familiy pets and working companions.
Our girl Mimi (TCH. CH. Novafusion Elara of Himalia CCD RE NRA ET JC) won the annual Toller versatility award at the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club of Victoria's 2022 Championship Show, Obedience, Rally & RATG trials. A very prestigious award, scoring the most points through Show, Obedience and Retrieving.
Her daughter, Xena (CH. Novafusion Lethal Lover RN. NRA. ET. TDX.) went on to Runner Up Best in Show in 2023s annual Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club of VIC show. An amazing achievement.
We have bred a dual champion (CH. RO. CH Novafusion Miracle Rose RM RAE ET) and multiple other Australian Show Champions. Our goal as a breeder is to continue to improve the breed (in both look and temperament) and would love for future puppy owners to be open minded and willing to work with their dog (whether that be in obedience, retrieving etc.).
Currently, we are working towards our retrieving titles and tracking with our boy Biggie and girl Mimi.
We are a very small breeder based in Adelaide, SA and have had tollers as part of our family for over ten years. We aim to breed puppies that are healthy, well socialised and active in a range of dog sports. We are using aspects of the Puppy Culture programme.
Over the years we have gained titles in Obedience, Rally, Flyball, Tricks and Scent Work with our tollers.
Our breeding girl, Ch Lidlriva Arya Stark RN, TKS SWN has health clearances in CPI, CLPS, DM, JADD, D Locus, TT4, TGAA, PRA, CEA, Hips (5), Elbows(0). Riva has gained titles in Rally, Tricks and Scent Work, including several 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings.

We are a small kennel located in Melbourne, Victoria. We are registered breeders with Dogs Australia (formerly the ANKC), and members of Dogs Victoria and the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club of Victoria.
We operate a small but focused breeding program, with an emphasis on health, temperament and versatility. We are dedicated to breeding Tollers according to the breed standard and are committed to producing Tollers that are not only well bred, but have exceptional temperaments and are a pleasure to own.
We extensively health test and use all of the available DNA tests for Tollers, as well as hip, elbow and eye assessments.
We currently have two beautiful Tollers, Biggie and Birdie. Our dogs compete in conformation showing and a number of different dog sports, and most weekends you can find us at shows or trials around Victoria. We are always happy to meet interested people at these events.
