2003 saw the start of my love of the Pharaoh Hound with the arrival of the very beautiful Pippa from Jay Green of the renowned Lahej Kennels, Ch Aust/Am Ch Lahej High Flier was an extremely beautiful example of the breed but sadly we lost her in 2007 aged 8 years old. So I waited until I found the right breeder, who like myself admires and has the desire to protect this ancient breed through careful breeding and care. Luck had it I was able to obtain a Pippa grandson from Rhodepark Kennels.

A wonderful partnership formed with Renee Davies of Rhodepark, with the arrival of Hunter ~ Rhodepark Star Hunter who went on to gain his Supreme Champion Title - Rhodepark Pharaoh's are consistent winners of Best of Breed, Group and Show at All Breeds, Specialties and Royals - thus proving the dedication of their breeding program by importing and expanding the gene pool within Australia of Pharaohs of outstanding quality from kennels owned by first class dedicated breeders like themselves.

While not currently breeding Pharaoh Hounds, I have however over 35 years in the dog world participating in Conformation showing, Obedience, Agility to name a few, I am very happy to guide you if you are interested in obtaining a Pharaoh into your home, from information to names of those I am happy to recommend purchasing a pup from. Will help any Pharaoh if in need of a new home through our close community of dedicated breeders.

I fell in love with sighthounds back in 1995 in my home country of Finland, and was originally involved in breeding and showing of Portuguese Podengos.

I was introduced to Pharaoh Hounds in 2005, when I acquired my foundation bitch Kiya, Ch Skiska Kool Kozmos from Leanne Lewis. Kiya has since produced a fantastic litter to The Pharaoh Hound of the Year 2008 & 2009 in Finland: INT Ch FIN Ch SWE Ch EST Ch NWY Ch LTU Ch Northgate's Dom Perignon, who is of course closely related to the Crufts 2009 and 2010 Group Winner Northgate's As You Like It. The fabulous 8 puppies have all gone to their new homes around the world!

Jump 5 years down the track and our new little is here - the progeny of Aus Ch Sleykh in Central Park (Foodie) and Swe Ch FIN Ch Farao Anubis Golden Gait (Roger). 12 gorgeous puppies (7 boys and 5 girls) have arrived safely and we are now taking enquiries.

My love affair with Pharaoh Hounds began in 2010 with the purchase of my first girl Lulu. Since then my obsession with the breed has only grown and after competing with my second girl Taboo (Ch Kinghunta Forbidden Dream) in the show ring with some success I decided to breed my first litter in 2019. Viva (Ch Mystra Firebrand) who I kept from that litter has already proven herself in the show ring and she is improving as she matures.

My aim as a breeder is to breed sound Pharaoh Hounds with great temperaments and breed type. My hope is to have my next litter in late 2021 - mid 2022 when Viva has fully matured and I am ready to keep another puppy.

Pharaoh Hounds are a beautiful breed but they are not for everyone. They are a challenging breed. Typically they are affectionate, playful, intelligent and energetic, but they can also be nuisance barkers, diggers and chewers if they are left to their own devices.
If you are considering adding a Pharaoh Hound puppy to your family, please research the breed as much as possible.
Most breeders will happily answer any questions you might have.
