Russian Toys can be naturally reserved with strangers, often forming strong bonds with their primary people and key family members. Our focus is on training, development, and temperament—not showing. We are dedicated to producing stable, well-prepared companions with strong foundations for family life. Therapy and community support work are central to our program. One dog actively visits patients in urgent care, and another is in training for future community roles, reflecting our focus on emotionally resilient, well-balanced dogs. We are a small, home-based breeder. All puppies are raised in a family environment with enriched early learning during critical prenatal, transitional, and socialisation stages. With 20+ years’ experience in early brain development (university and TAFE lecturing), this knowledge is applied alongside veterinary behavioural science and ongoing research. A structured early learning program is delivered under the guidance of a qualified dog trainer experienced with Russian Toys. Puppies are professionally assessed from 6 weeks until ready for placement. No puppy leaves until fully assessed as developmentally and behaviourally ready, ensuring the right match with the right family. A waiting list is maintained, and we welcome contact with previous owners.
