Munchener has been involved with Pepper & Salt Giant Schnauzers since 1989. Schnauzers of all sizes have been a part of our family since the 1960s. The Pepper & Salt Giant Schnauzer is a rare breed with only 1 in 15 Giant Schnauzers being Pepper & Salt in colour. We are working closely with dedicated breeders overseas and through our breeding programme and by selectively importing hope to further develop and promote the breed in Australia. We have imported from Germany, Sweden, UK and USA. Our latest import is Hungarian Junior Champion Australian Grand Champion Silver Senator Kaoma Night ( Prima) from Hungary.All our dogs are health tested.

Imported Finnish and Russian top bloodlines. Breeding for type,soundness and temperament.

Our giants have achieved Multi Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show, Multi Reserve in Show, Multi Best in Group, Multi Reserve in Group, Multi Class in Group and Multi Class in Show in All Breed and Specialty championship shows.

In Obedience we have achieved CDX and Endurance ET Titles. Our dogs have the temperament and style to be your best friend in play and at work.

Giant Schnauzers are an alert, reliable and intelligent breed that are ideal with other dogs and children. The Giant Schnauzer has medium to high maintenance requirements for excercise and grooming as the coat does require stripping for the show dog - pets can be clipped. Giant Schnauzers require a good deal of social and mental stimulation

I first started showing in 1965 with a miniature schnauzer.My first schnauzer adopted me in 1985 and then came the giant in 1994 since then we have bred 5 Grand Champion Schnauzers the first Male
& Female in the breed.Our bloodlines have started some of the top winning kennels in Australa and have produced 94 titled dogs that we know of many which are BIS BIG and Specialty winners We only breed when requiring new dogs for show or obedience over the years our dogs have been used in child handlers

Blackline was established in 2005, although Petri started breeding in 1998 under the prefix of "Pamaausfinn". He achieved multiple champions & created the modern foundation stock for Blackline.
Sue started showing Standard Schnauzers in 1995 in Melbourne and in 2005 joined Petri in Brisbane to start Blackline
Petri imported from Finland “Aust Gr Ch Refrain All Star"-Goofy. He was a Multi BEST IN SHOW &
MULTI BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW dog, winning back to back best of breeds at Sydney,Brisbane,Melbourne and Toowoomba Royals & a multi Best in Group winner.Goofy also won Runner Up Best in Group at Sydney Royal 2005, Runner Up Best in Group Perth Royal 2007 and Best in Group Toowoomba Royal. He certainly followed his famous fathers footsteps "Int Ch Stablemasters Northern Hope"
We then imported from the famous Ingebars Kennel in USA “Opal”, then from the famous Finnish kennel Stablemasters, “Hemi”
We strive for healthy, well balanced dogs in temperament and conformation, they are suitable for active people & family’s that will give the dog the necessary training & guidance it needs.
Blackline is extremely proud of our giants achievements in the show ring, we have won Multi Best in Show, Multi Best in Specialty Show, Multi Reserve Best in Show/Specialty Show,Mutli Best in Group/Multi Reserve in Group, as well as qualifying for Queensland Dog of The Year multiple years

We are a small breeder who are focused on quality and temperament. We are lucky to have fantastic mentors that have helped us into the breeds and who we work closely with.

Although we are fairly new to our breeds we have access to some fantastic pedigrees, incorporating both imported and top local lines, from proven stock that are true to breed standard.

We are striving to produce quality happy dogs that are professionals in the show ring but first and foremost loved family pets.
