I have had and shown Siberian Huskies for over 20 years. I started with Suthanlites Siberian’s and from there I started working with Koolmove Siberian’s Working and being mentored by Jenny Campbell has led me to starting up my own Kennel Prefix Zelenka Siberian’s, I look forward to being able to keep working with Jen and with new bloodlines coming soon I look forward to what the future may bring

Canyonlands Siberian Huskies was established in 1997 by Katrina Fisher. Many beautiful dogs and bloodlines were imported into Australia by Katrina and many Supreme, Grand and Champion dogs were recognised for their quality from local and international judges. Many of these were awarded multiple BIS, BISS not only in Australia but in the USA and other Countries around the world. In 2014 I was honoured to be offered to continue the legacy of Canyonlands and the high standards of the beautiful Siberian Husky by Katrina after she decided to retire from breeding and showing. I'm looking forward to the future of Canyonlands with a exciting future breedings planned. I will be back out in the show ring again once life returns to normal with my youngsters who are coming along nicely.

My journey with Siberian Huskies started in 2011 when I welcomed my first Sibe into my home. That passion only grew, leading to many years planning to finally welcome my foundation litter in 2022. One of my proudest achievements is Quinn – who has well and truly become the most titled Siberian Husky in Australia! She’s earned titles across Agility, Jumping, Rally Obedience, Lure Coursing, Tricks, Dances with Dogs, and the Endurance Test. On top of that, she is always a blast to run in dryland sledding. In 2023, Quinn and I made history as the first Siberian team to qualify for the Agility Nationals finals! At Isinnak, I believe a great dog is more than just titles though– it’s about finding that perfect balance between a loving family companion and an active pet who enjoys anything you wish to do with them. My goal is to produce well-rounded Siberians that thrive in both home life and the sporting fields. I take health and temperament seriously, ensuring all health testing is complete and available to puppy buyers. I have a strong knowledge of the temperaments of the dogs I breed. Snowdara is a family owned prefix and have been exhibiting and breeding dogs since 1979, successfully breeding champions of top merits in both Samoyeds and Lhasa Apsos, while handling many other breeds to champion status and Best in show awards. Peter Primrose is an All Breeds judge, Rita is licensed for Groups 6 and 7 and Chelsey is currently studying for her Group 6 license and handles our current show team across all breeds. We have been successfully exhibiting Siberian huskies since 2017. Owning and handling multiple Siberians to Best In Show and Best In Group awards. Chelsey has had a passion for the breed since first exhibiting a Siberian Husky in junior handlers in 2010. The breed has become a huge part of our family and a future breed of the Snowdara prefix. We are a small family kennel based on the outskirts of South East Queensland who participate in dry land dog sledding with our local sledding club and other national sledding events as well as dog showing. We occasionally have puppies that will be available on Limited or Main Register to approved homes. We breed for Health, Function, and Temperament, ensuring our dogs are true to the standard set by ANKC. All of our dogs are fit and healthy, with the appropriate health tests completed for our breed, and are much loved members of our family. Our dogs are our family, they grew up around the family and are gentle and loving with our 4 children and us. We strive to better the breed standard. Our adults are DNA tested for any hereditary diseases before breeding. Pups are well socialised, around our 4 children, chooks and cat. They grow up around the noise of vacuum cleaners, music, and the usual everyday bang and clang of a family home ! Our pups do not leave us before 8 weeks of age.. we wait until they're physically and mentally ready. Our priority is the health and well-being of our dogs and pups.

We are a small Kennel located in Sale. After over 25 years of having Huskies as members of our family we decided a few years ago to start breeding. Our principal reasons for breeding are to achieve well natured, well adjusted Huskies that are of high standard, typical of the breed and suitable for working or as pets. Pups are well socialised having spent lots of time around people and older dogs. Quite happy to be inside or out and love attention. Have been wormed every two weeks and first vaccination at six weeks. Health check by Vet at six weeks. Intended to be sold as pets on the Dogs Victoria Limited Register, with beautiful nature and typical of the breed, they are priced accordingly. Siberian Huskies are not suitable for everyone and it is important that you do some research if you have no prior experience with this breed. Darlaja Kennels is not currently breeding Siberian Huskies. While the breed remains close to our hearts, our current focus is elsewhere and we have no planned Husky litters at this time. We appreciate the support of everyone who has followed our journey with this wonderful breed.

My journey with the Siberian Husky began in 1996 with my very first dog. What started as a love for this remarkable breed soon developed into a lifelong passion for showing and breeding Siberian Huskies. Over the years I have been fortunate to work with and introduce influential bloodlines from around the world, always striving to preserve the breed’s correct type, temperament, and soundness. Through dedication to the breed and the sport, I became actively involved in exhibiting and breeding, enjoying success in the show ring while focusing on producing quality Siberian Huskies that reflect the breed standard. For around ten years I stepped away from showing to support my children as they pursued their passion for riding and competing with their horses. However, my love for Siberian Huskies never faded. The next chapter began when my youngest daughter, Lara, at just 13 years old, developed an interest in exhibiting our dogs. With renewed enthusiasm, I bred my last remaining bitch to a lovely male with strong and complementary bloodlines. From that litter came Supreme Champion Sledforce Here We Go Again, “Pandora” or “Panda.” Lara and Panda learned the art of the show ring together, gaining confidence and experience with every outing. Today Lara is one of Queensland’s top Junior Handlers, competing successfully at the highest levels. Watching her develop her own passion for the breed has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

~ Form Follows Function ~ We are proud to have our dogs succeed in sledding, their original function, most recently achieving the first, and currently only, WTD (working team dog) titles in SA. Our dogs are versatile, fit and active. They compete in a variety of activities from Lure Coursing and SprintDogTM, to scent work, backpacking, and conformation sports.
