Luna – 15-Month-Old Desexed SWD Finding this girl a new home is one of the hardest decisions we’ve had to make. After a great deal of thought, we’ve decided that, due to changes in our family’s circumstances, ongoing health issues and the time required to maintain a Spanish Water Dog’s coat and lifestyle, Luna deserves a home where she can receive the time and attention she thrives on. Luna is a 15-month-old desexed Spanish Water Dog registered with DogsWest from Zandeena. She is a clever, athletic and affectionate young dog who absolutely loves being part of the family. Some of Luna’s favourite things include: Swimming Running and exploring Learning new skills and training Snuggling on the couch with her people She is: House trained Crate trained Good to groom Good with children Good with cats Lives happily with other dogs Like any young dog, Luna has a few quirks. She can be vocal if she’s bored, loves to jump up when she’s excited, and is capable of clearing a low fence, so secure fencing is essential. She can be a little barky or snappy when first meeting some dogs but settles quickly once she’s comfortable. She is generally reliable around ducks and chickens, although she occasionally forgets her manners and will chase them. Luna is an active, intelligent breed and will thrive with owners who enjoy training, walking, dog sports or simply including their dog in everyday life. She is quick to learn and would excel with someone who enjoys working with their dog.
