Molly is a sweet, quirky 3.5-year-old desexed blue merle female seeking a very special new home. She is a sensitive girl with a gentle nature who needs a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace. Molly can be shy when meeting new people and takes time to build trust, particularly with men, as she is more comfortable with women. Once she feels safe, her lovely nature shines through and she becomes a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys being close to her people. Molly would ideally suit a quieter home, preferably with another friendly dog for company. She has grown up with other Corgis and Papillons and gets along well with other dogs. She has also grown up with poultry and is good with them, but is untested with cats. Molly has discoid lupus, so she needs to be kept out of the sun and is best suited as an indoor dog. Her condition is manageable, but it is important that her new owners understand her needs and are committed to her care. She is house-trained, enjoys sleeping inside, and is used to grooming and having her nails clipped or dremelled. Molly is desexed, wormed, flea treated, DNA tested (clear for all Cardigan health issues), and has had hip and elbow x-rays with good scores. Her rehoming fee is $1,800. I would prefer she stays within reach of Mount Gambier, Adelaide or Melbourne so I can offer support to her new family. A trial may be considered for the right home, as finding the best match for Molly is my priority.
