Kodie has a vibrant personality and loving nature. She entails everything a labrador should. Her willingness to please is something that shines every day. Whenever approaching her or the kennels, she immediately runs away to find a toy or stick to bring back. This is the true labrador retrieving instinct and willingness to please. Always wanting the first acknowledgement, she pushes her way in front of the other dogs for the first cuddle and pat.

Probably one of the most encouraging realizations was Kodie being awarded Best of Breed on her very first day ever of showing at the age of 18 months old, handled by an amateur handler. Kodie gained her Australian Champion title in 2019.

Kodie has her Community Companion Dog Title, earned with scores of 91/100, 94/100, and 87/100 (average of 92/100).
At the Dogs Victoria State Trial August 2018, she placed in the top three in the STATE Obedience Trials for CCD.
She also has her Rally Novice Title, earned with scores of 97/100, 98/100, 97/100, 90/100, 96/100, and 91/100 (average of 95).
She has been awarded a number of Highest Scoring in Trial awards.

Very correct dense coat of correct texture, exceptionally good otter tail knitted underneath. Moved soundly and presented a good outline. Prefer more feminine head and softer expression."
