DUAL CHAMPION (R) Tenarda Firecracker
Cracker was a great ambassador for the breed, with outstanding ability and a wonderful temperament. He gained his show title with ease with numerous CLASS IN GROUP awards along the way. He competed successfully in Spaniel & Retriever Field Trials. He gained his Retrieving Trial Championship making him a Dual Champion in Retrieving and Show. He was a proven sire with his progeny being successful in the show ring and also in Retrieving Trials. CRACKER FINISHED THE 2007 VICTORIAN STATE RETRIEVING TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIP & THE NATIONAL RETRIEVING CHAMPIONSHIP, with the BEST MINOR BREED Award in the Trial. Cracker also won 5th place in the 2008 Queensland Retrieving Trial Championship out of 27 entries and 6 finishers. He was again best scoring MINOR BREED in the Trial. CRACKER was awarded SSAA Working Gundog Association of Australia, United Field & Retrieving Branch, DOG OF THE YEAR, OPEN DOG OF THE YEAR, AND VETERAN DOG OF THE YEAR, 2009. His offspring carry on a great tradition in show and retrieving, for which he will always be lovingly remembered.
