Balgu Katie
Katie loved nothing more than to share a kiss with Mum - which she accomplished by putting her mouth around my head and saying 'graawaarraaawwwaarr' over and over. She would play hand shakes endlessly and many a visitor was sucked into handing over the entire treat jar because of Katie's charm and adeptness at looking at people with those 'they never feed me you know' eyes. When the dinner dish came out at night Katie did beautiful spins in the air and sang the most wonderfully happy song. What can we say - Katie liked food.
Katie had a level mouth with good even dentition, good pigmentation, level topline and the tightest cat feet we have ever seen - giving her one of her nicknames 'Katie Katie Cat Feet'. Lovely boning and substance contributed to her overall excellent presentation. Katie was a substantial girl and a sheer delight to be owned by.
Katie loved to crash on the waterbed and contentedly snore for hours, dreaming of lizards, possums, and chickens - all of the good things in life. She was our Number 1 girl and we owe everything to Katie. Thank you beautiful girl for the lovely children you have given us and for the love you gave every day. We adore you and miss you Chi Chi Mumma.
It was with great pride that Katie was exhibited in the Veteran's Parade at the Bullmastiff Club of NSW Specialty Show Easter 2008. She did a wonderful job strutting her stuff around the ring and there are no words to describe how proud of her we are and how greatful we are that she was our girl.
