Mrs C Seeber's critique of Whitney where she was awarded BIS at the SSCofWA 2020 Champ Show

This quality five year old bitch entered the ring and instantly appealed. A wonderful combination of beauty, style and grace. Her effortless movement was simply stunning. Her rich golden colour and her abundant beautifully fitted coat combined with her symmetrical outline created a beautiful picture. Very good height to length ratio. Beautiful length and crest of neck flowing into a firm level top line with a gentle fall over the loin. I particularly liked her substance in body, beautiful spring of rib, width and depth of chest. Quality bone throughout. Hindquarters of good strength and width with lovely turn of stifle, hocks well let down. Excellent lay of shoulder which was evident in her movement. Feminine in head showing her sweetness of expression coming from correctly placed dark almond eye. Well rounded clean muzzle with firm under jaw. I would like to see slightly less width of skull and ears set slightly higher and a touch lighter. Movement was balanced, sound and smooth with excellent reach and drive. She was a pleasure to watch. She was confident, animated and in excellent condition - a pleasure to judge. I was very happy to award her my Best Exhibit In Show today.
