Mia, pictured at 7 1/2 months old, started her show career at 5 months old and made her presence felt. In very quick time she won many classes in group and was a multiple class in show winner. A Cc winner at 6 months old, the highlight in Mia's short show career was being awarded Reserve CC bitch at the Shetland Sheepdog Club of NSW Show at just 7 months of age. She was also given this honor of being awarded Reserve CC bitch again at the Shetland Sheepdog Club of NSW show in 2010, as well as Opposite Open in Show.

Another highlight was Mia winning Best in Group and titling at 13 months of age in a group entry of 250 dogs at County of Cumberland Anzac Show in 2008,

Mia spent most of her first two years on lease to Deirdre Crofts of Deerod Shelties, who cared for her as one of her own. During her time at Deerod, Deirdre put in a tremendous effort with general upkeep, grooming and showing, taking Mia all the way to her title with some brilliant wins along the way, and for that we are forever grateful to Deirdre.

Tragically, Mia passed away at an early age.

Gone but never, ever forgotten.
