Rune is the foundation and future of Norsonix Australian Shepherds.
I am incredibly grateful to her breeders at Eliteview for entrusting me with her.

Rune has had a marvellous start to her performance career, so far achieving 9 performance titles in 5 different fields, Rally, Herding, Agility, DWD and Tricks in just a little over 12 months. She has also made a start on her conformation title and on many more performance titles with qualifying / challenge certificates towards:
- Australian Champion (show)
- Tracking
- Lure Coursing
- Novice Gamblers (Agility games)
- Excellent Snooker (Agility games)
- Rally Advanced Excellent
- Novice Tricks

Rune is a sweet natured girl with a lot of love to give. She’s very smiley and eager to please. She is extremely biddable and enjoys learning new skills.
She is petite and feminine, standing at 18.1inches (46cm) at the withers. She has a very kind expression. Rune has been DNA tested, Merle length tested, had her hips and elbows scored and has a valid eye certificate.

Rune's entry into performance trials was at the 2021 Perth Royal Show where she was awarded 2nd place on a lovely score of 95/100 in Rally Novice and in February 2022 at just a touch under 12 Months she achieved her next two passes in the high 90s to be awarded her:

Just a short time later in March 2022, Rune had achieved the required passes she needed to achieve her:
RALLY ADVANCED TITLE

As Rune continues to learn new skills we enter additional performance sports for her to try. In June Rune achieved her first pass in Starter tricks and on the 9th of July she achieved another two beautiful passes (one only 0.2 of a point off a perfect score) achieving her:
TRICK DOG STARTER TITLE

In July 2022, Rune also proved that she has some good natural instinct as a working dog easily achieving her:
HERDING TEST TITLE

Three months later at 20months old, Rune achieved her first agility related title in the game Snooker With one 1st place and two 2nd places
NOVICE SNOOKER DOG TITLE

In the 2nd half of 2022 we started working on Dances With dogs with Rune performing Freestyle Starter routine to a Harry Potter theme, she performed tricks in the way of "spells" and as a result, we achieved a 3rd place in September, a 1st place in October and a 2nd place in Feb 2023 to get her
FREESTYLE STARTER TITLE

Slowly but surely we have also been picking away at Rally Excellent, starting in June 2022, but only competing sporadically, Rune achieved a qualifying round in every trial we entered, all but one score in the mid to high 90s and the lower score was a risk I took which cost us 10 points - it's never the dog's fault!
In Feb 2023 Rune took 2nd place and a nice 96 point qualifier to achieve her final pass towards her
RALLY EXCELLENT TITLE

After achieving her Freestyle Starter title in Dances With Dogs, we started persuing Heelwork to Music with Rune heeling in different positions. Rune qualified with two 2nd places and a 1st place in March 2023 to achieve her
HEELWORK TO MUSIC STARTER TITLE

After a 9 month hiatus to rest before and after her first litter of puppies, Rune returned to Jumping competitions achieving her final novice jumping pass on her first competition run back before backing it up with a second (extra) pass later in the day, with 5 out of the 6 passes she achieved being 1st, 2nd or 3rd, taking her to her
NOVICE JUMPING TITLE

Rune has since had a couple of runs in excellent jumping and is showing promise for a fun journey through the level.
I am excited to see what she can do in 2024.
