Fitz is a beautiful tri dog with lovely movement, extension and drive. Handled by Paul and Leslie Weston in NSW, Michael Wickham in SA and earlier by Ian Cross and Baya Draper in WA. He has earned numerous BoB and group wins including baby, minor, junior and intermediate in show wins. He finished in the top puppies in WA best of the breeds competition, No. 1 basset in WA and top 5 in the national showdog competition. In 2023, he was BIS winner in SA hound club show, best junior in show at 2023 Basset National, BoB winner over 25 hounds at the Victorian Hound Club specialty. In 2024, he leads the breed in wins in pointscore and has earned numerous group and BoBs including the prestigious Canberra Royal and Southern Region Hound Club and Country Classic as best intermediate hound.
