Vancouver has the truly unmistakeable German Shepherd character;he is a willing worker and has the natural drive and ability to work all day.He is a lovely rich red and black dog.His progeny have his pronounced drives and joy for work. He is recommended through his breed survey for bitches in need of colour enhancement and overall strength, but possessing the desired croup angle could be considered. His General Description states: Above medium size strong very good masculine head and expression. The eye colour should be darker. Very good height to length proportions. High withers, firm back, croup of very good length, just slightly flat. Very good fore and hindquarter angulation with very good length of foreleg. Pronounced forechest development and good depth of chest. Stands straight in front. Steps slightly wide in rear, correct in front. In movement the dog shows very good reach, the drive should be more pronounced and the back remain slightly firmer. Excellent character and gun sure.
