Our lovely boy Brock, as well have having a wonderful nature to make him a fantastic guard dog, he also had a very successful show career. Being shown by a junior handler at most of his shows he won his first specialty Res CC from the puppy class, he went on to win back to back Melbourne Royal BOB's, as well as a Sydney Royal BOB & Opp Sex at Sydney Royal. He won his second specialty res CC from the open class, as well as numerous other specialty class wins in the years between. Throughout his show career he was never unplaced in breed competition & only ever received three 3rd placings, every other time it was first or second in his class.

He is the sire of the first litter brothers to be awarded All Breeds Best in Show, Nightwatch Placid Ark in WA & the other Ch Nightwatch Vo Rogue in Qld. Progeny from this litter also won multiple specialty Res CC's, with Ch Nightwatch Vo Rogue winning his from the puppy class under Mary Cox from the UK. His daughter Ch Nightwatch Lady Nikita won the CC at the 1st NSW club championship show in 1991 & the Res CC's to her half sisters in NSW & Vic in 1994. Nightwatch Shergar was the only Bullmastiff to place at the finals of the KCC All Breed Guineas Final at the Melbourne Royal Show.

Progeny from another litter produced the first bitch to win Specialty Best in Shows in 2 states - Ch Bullmaster Sweet Melody.

Brock reached his 11th birthday & passed away a few months short of his 12th. We have been very lucky that his longevity seems to have been carried on & some of his progeny have also reached their 11th & 12th birthdays. His grandchildren we hope can continue this wonderful trait too, as they run around the yard like puppies at well over 9 years of age!

Unfortunately we didn't think to freeze any of Brock, oh how we wish we had! We won't make that mistake again & we've had the boys 'frozen' in their prime for our future.
