The old saying is "leaving the best til last" and this young boy doesn't disappoint in any way. I am getting older and this fella may be my last showdog from my prefix.

What does "Donnacha" mean I hear you ask?........... it means quite literally "brown-haired warrior"......... mind you Ru is far more a lover than a fighter LOL.

Ru's dad Ch Danrith Focal Point "Archie" bred by my dear friend James Bennett has stamped his trademark with his son a brown copy of himself. Such a gentle soul I didn't think I could breed an even better temperamented dog than Archie but here he is!

Just like his dad, Ru's mum also was also a consummate professional in the show ring. Kirby (Ch Pudelian Me Myself and I) was one of my most successful homebred minis. She was a multi group, RUBISS and class in show winner. Kirby is now living with a dear friend of mine and is training in agility which she has taken to like a duck to water.

Browns unfortunately naturally fade in colour over time so they don't always get a fair go in the show ring - but I love browns they are real characters. My love for the colour was cemented very early on when Louis (Ch Jenuin Firecracker) came to stay..........my first homebred champion, Trinity (Ch Pudelian Decadence), was also a brown. There have been many many others since and Ru is the culmination of all of those show dogs of the past.
