Beau was my first show dog and made me so very proud to enter the ring with him. Beau was a multiple Best in Group, In Show and In Group winner over his career. Even at the age of almost 10 years he still managed a dog challenge win over dogs much younger than him. Beau represented our breed on television programmes such as Burke's Backyard and Harry's Practice and loved any opportunity to get his photograph taken for magazines such as Dog's Life.

In his retirement years Beau would accompany me when I visited the local Nursing Home and he was always such a big hit with all the elderly people. Always such a gentle big boy, especially with the frail and very young.

Beau crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on April 13 2007 at the age of 12 1/2 years and took part of my heart with him.

For me he really was a gift from God and he will never be forgotten.

I love you my baby boy.
