Kirra wins BEST NUETER IN SHOW at the age of 10 yrs 7 months at Kilcoy Ag Show under Mrs D Smith


Kirra was my first papered stafford. She was bought mainly for obedience and then started her in the show ring. She loved the show ring more than the obedience ring. She wasnt the smartest hammer in the shed. She hated obedience and didnt start until she was 3 and a half. She passed her CD ( Companion Dog ) in 3 trials then went onto to her CDX ( Companion Dog Excellence) title. She didnt want to do the drop on recall so it took awhile to get her CDX title. When she finally done it, it was the best feeling ever to get her title. I tried her at UD (Utility Dog)but gave up as she was the total blonde and didnt like to use her nose. She loves to jump more than anything and she gained her AD(Agility Dog) and JD (Jumpers Dog) titles with ease. Trying to get her other titles is another thing. But hopefully we will get there in the end.


She gained her Australian Championship title at the age of 4. It was good when she got that title to stick it up some peoples nose who said she would never get her title. She was good enough to get it so why not. The best thing about her Aust title is that she got it because of her and not because i knew the judge.


Kirra is my best friend and i would be lost without her. I nearly lost her at 12 months of age and glad that she is still with me now stronger than ever.


She recently won Best Desexed in Show in out Specialty Open show under Mr D McAllister (Dapmac SBT)in March 2010. She enjoys the show ring and will continue to show her till she has had enough which isnt anytime soon.
