Aust Gr Ch Maggipate Mr Lacy
Wendel has always been campaigned by Mr. Geoff Love, and the both of them have given me many wonderful moments to cherish.
One in particular was when he won Best in Show at Durack Qld. under Mr Ian Hinde of Victoria. The show was a summer evening, with very high humidity, Geoff and Wendel were asked to run against all the other group winners, and then do a lap of honour before receiving the Best in Show ribbon and trophy..."Oh what a feeling" Needless to say Geoff did recover!
Now retired Wendel finished his career with 15 Best in Show awards. Now a house dog, he always was and always will be my "Best Mate".
None of this would not have been possible without the expertise of Geoff, for which I'm very grateful.
