BEST OF BREED National Capital 'Aussie Breeds' Show Feb 2011
Well we bought the little man out of retirement for 'a run' in 2010 and he already rewarded us with 3 X R/UP BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP and 2 X STATE BRED IN SHOW...
JASPER has been an awesome show dog. Only shown sparingly due to the fact that we also campaign our ACDs.
During his limited showing however he has been awarded no less than 1 R/UP BEST IN SHOW and 7 BEST IN GROUPs.
Judges comments on awarding R/up BIS to JASPER were that,
"It is rare to find a Silky nowdays who has either, correct size, correct colour, correct type or correct movement and this dogs has ALL of those qualities."
What an accolde!

All our Silkies possess true type. Carefull attention is paid to head ratios, top-lines, angulation, coat colour/texture and movement. All of our Silky terriers are just that, Terriers! Bold, outgoing and full of themselves.
At TAGETARL there are no 'experimental' matings. We have carefully studied pedigrees and sought out individuals and bloodlines that bring improvement in traits and conformation and from this we construct our breeding programme.
