2014 has not seen us venture out to any shows unfortunately due to the fact that I have had a very bad knee & haven't been able to run my dogs but I was determined to show my dogs at the 9th Golden Retriever National Show held at the end of October 2014 & I'm so glad I did. From an entry of over 300 dogs BISS RBISS BISAB CH.LARBELLAH TAKE THE LEAD won the Dog CC & RUNNER UP IN SHOW to his lovely grand-daughter! He also won "Best Sire & Progeny" to which he was accompanied by 3 of his gorgeous progeny Ch. Goldew Southern Son, Ch. Kiriel Il Divo & his junior girl Giltedge Swing With Me.
Jimmy's Critique from The National read: He caught my eye from the first time he came into the ring & ran around. Beautiful balance. Throughout the whole class he kept his topline, he kept his easy ground covering gait. Looks like he could do that all day long. Beautiful front assembly, neck into shoulder, topline, good bend of stifle & good strong hocks. Good bone, depth of body & good balance. Just a lovely, lovely dog - not overdone in any way.
Jimmy has proven to be a very pre-potent sire, consistently producing sound, outgoing & healthy typey pups within Australia and abroad. This is a testament to the thoughtful breeding over many generations both at Beaucroft & Giltedge and other significant Kennels.
Jimmy is available at stud to approved bitches. Frozen semen also available. Hip Score 2/2 Elbows 0/0 Clear Eyes, Clear Heart, Ichthyosis Normal/Clear & PRA 1 & 2 Clear.
