Aust. Ch. Meinlieb Magic Rndabout RN
Dougal is the result of a union between my lovely Harvey (Ch. Meinlieb King O Hearts CCD RN) and Michele Thomas' Alexandra (Ch. Celerity I Told U It Was Magic at Meinlieb, Imp NZ).
As a pup, Dougal was a little reserved but now he is Mr Personality. Dougal delights in tormenting his brother, Gregory, and is a livewire with 2-speeds -- flat out or asleep. In public, Dougal is a real 'dog person', wanting to say hello to any 4-legged friends he meets - then he will charm their owners with tail swishing from side to side.
Very intelligent, he examines his environment like no other dog I have seen - he watches TV, star gazes, plane-spots and is a budding art-critic (checking out dog portraits high up on the wall)! He also enjoys landscaping the yard, chasing cats, and stalking birds.
Dougal is opinionated - if he can't get his own way, he whimpers softly. He may also try a very cute 'beg' which he has yet to discover does not work with other dogs! He doesn't 'do' stand - not good for a show dog but things are getting slowly better.
Dougal is a Class in Show winner who excels in bone, with a beautiful big head, melting dark eyes, kissable moosh (with the darkest pigment imaginable), beautiful mouth, broad chest, high teapot-handle tail, and correct flowing movement. Like all of my dogs, Dougal is not penned to grow coat!
Dougal and his brother, Gregory, are training in Jumping & Agility and started trialling in Jumping in Sept 2009.

Dougal earned his Australian Champion title on 17 October, 2010 - the day after his litter brother; and his RN Rally Obedience title on 2 November, 2014, following in his father's footsteps.
