Although a springer that did not really enjoy shows, he gained his NZ title, along the way winning a Specialty BIS and an Intermediate in Show All Breeds. We did not exhibit him in Australia as he had lost teeth, possibly by getting in the way of a dairy cow!
As we hoped, his special qualities came to the fore in his progeny. He was mated twice to NZ & Aust Ch Wongan Secret Sensation and in the first litter were two bitches Ch Maketawa Hollyglow and Ch Maketawa Bright Noelle.
In the second litter under the Wongan prefix were two more lovely bitches, Ch Wongan Secret Spirit and Ch Wongan Amazing
Grace, a multi Specialty BIS winner. Also a dog NZ CH Wongan Sure Salvation.
All these bitches had their Dad's lovely type and reachy movement. Also beautiful heads, gorgeous type with the work and strength of foreface of their Dad.
Unfortunately we lost Storm at a young age, but are grateful for his important contribution to our breeding program. Thank
you Margaret and Sharon for breeding him and allowing us to own him.
