'Catcher' came to Australia from the famous American To-Jo kennels in 1998 after finishing his US title with best of breeds from the classes (over champions),group placements as well as a Best in Match at Longview Kennel Club. He stepped straight into showing with a number of best in groups to obtain his Australian championship. Along the way to his 'Grand' he continued his winning ways with numerous all Breeds Best in Shows/Runner Up Best in Show awards, Specialty Best in Show/Runner Up Best in Show awards, and a Royal Best in Group & Runner Up Best in Group. He was also a Contest of Champions contestant on numerous occasions. He was also Tasmanian Working Dog of the Year in 2000. Catcher was also awarded many other 'top' prizes along the way in his wonderful show career. As a sire he was used selectively to only 2 bitches but produced 3 fanatstic offspring. To Aust/Can/Am Ch Raffles Too Baad For Ewe he produced Gr Ch Ottaba Ewecant Catchme (multi all breeds BIS/Runner Up BIS winner, multi BIGs & Royal Class in Show winner, Speciality Class in Show winner, Contest of Champion Runner Up)owned by myself and Ann Cassidy (Qld) and Ch Ottaba Catchmeif Ewecan (multi allbreeds BIS winner, multi speciality R/Up BIS winner as well as numerous in group and in show awards) owned by Ann Cassidy. To Aust Ch Packardia Charlotte's Web he produced Aust Grand Ch Packardia Goes Ambelon (a multi all breeds BIS/Runner Up BIS winner, multi BIG winner, Royal Class in Show winner, Speciality Class in Show winner and Contest of Champions contestant) owned by myself.
Catcher had the most loving nature and won the hearts of many and I miss him every day. I am forever indebted to Joy Kelley for entrusting me with Catcher.
