Chase is the new addition to the family!
Robbie had a huge interest in the Border Collies and was learning about handling them from a friend at the shows. When Robbie was offered this gorgeous young man as a start up into the breed there was no convincing him otherwise! We thank Sheree Aylett immensely for entrusting this young man into our care. Robbie is forever grateful for this fantastic opportunity.
Robbie and Chase became best friends straight away, with Chase warming to the rest of the family quite quickly. You'd think he's always been here now!
With more practice Robbie and Chase will be continuing with showing in 2010. He is also very keen to learn more about herding, so once the yards are complete at home, he will be able to practice more.
So if you are a BC person and you see a young boy and his dog at the shows, please some encouraging words would be great. He is the future of this sport, we need more young ones taking an interest. He knows he is up against the Big Guns with this breed and he doesn't mind. He just wants to have fun with his dog!
