Ch & NZ Ch Agile Call Me HIAs HSBs

Bugs was the puppy that was never meant to stay. His dark colouring meant that his more glamorous littermates were selected for new families, and this puppy who had more get up and go than the Duracel bunny (hence his name) eventually became the last puppy to be placed from the litter.

Bugs has a keenness to please (except when there are sheep in the paddock, and then its "yipppppeeeeeee") and is responsive to training, which is wonderful as he has limited access to stock being a "city dog", so he has to retain the training from months previous until his next run on stock. He is quick to learn, and we plan to have a dabble in other disciplines, just to add to the variety of titles. I am so pleased to say my boy is owner/handler trained and trialled and I absolutely love him to bits, despite some hiccoughs on the way.

The ultimate Border Collie; not only showing his pretty face in the conformation ring, this boy can do what Border Collies for over a hundred years have been bred for... he works stock, not wind up toys, and has earned multiple titles in herding. Bugs has lovely qualities in character and conformation, which he has passed on to his progeny. Glorious temperament, he conformation titled with almost a different handler at each show, and he gave his all. Bugs had a short holiday "across the ditch" and came home with his NZ Championship title which was quite a feat given he was over 10 years of age, taking on much younger competition. We remain grateful to the people in NZ who loved my boy, and miss him very much. One day, his progeny will return.

Agile Kennels - Breeder/Home of Champions (Aust/NZ Show Champions) in addition to Tracking and Obedience Champions in a very competitive breed.
