We said goodbye to Skye in July 2016 at the grand age of 14 years & 2 months old. Skye's show career was short but spectacular. She was shown very selectively, and she did it in fine style. A very pretty, feminine bitch with beautiful balance & substance, she is a Multi Class In Show winner (All Breeds & Specialty) & gained her show title with ease at 15 months of age.

Skye was definitely the matriarch at Silvasheen. She enjoyed keeping the birds and cats under control in the backyard. She was an absolute thief, who could open doors, cupboards & ovens in the quest for anything edible, Skye always kept us on our toes.

Skye survived two serious, life-threatening bouts of surgery in 2011 & in 2012.

Skye was a keen hunter and retriever and she loved every minute in the swamp. We miss her dreadfully.

Skye's hipscore results are : Hips 4:4 Elbows 0:0 ~ Australian Grade 2 International Grade B.
