Rhyll Whats Wanted CD RN
Riva was to be many things when Daryll first bought him as an older puppy (show dog, field dog, life long companion etc. etc.). Little did they know that their future was to be drastically altered when Daryll was diagnosed with a severe illness about 12 months later!
I received distressing phone calls from Daryll who thought it best for Riva if he was rehomed with someone who could better look after him. Daryll explained that his own future involved lengthy treatments and an uncertain outcome.
I must admit to trying to dissuade Daryll from making a decision regarding Riva that would mean losing him permanently. I suggested he ask his close friends if they could "mind" Riva for a while, giving Daryll time to concentrate on getting well and opportunity to re-evaluate his situation later on.
I am thrilled to say that not only has Daryll been given the all clear, and he still has his mate "Riva" by his side, he has taken up the challenge of a totally new activity - i.e. Obedience training and now he is "Trialling"!!!!
(And what "good bloke" ever joins an obedience club without being "drafted" onto the Committee!!!!)
Huge congratulations Daryll on gaining a CCD title (with great scores & ring placements) on your first ever obedience dog, Riva!!!

Albury 2012 - 2nd place on 184 points
Wangaratta (am) 2012 - 1st place on 187 points
Wangaratta (pm) 2012 - 1st place on 190 points
Daryll now tells me that he is training Riva for his Rally O debut!!!
